Should be up by more but better effort from Jones on D.. Bane is getting his legs under him.. Wagner great.. Suggs just a little too aggressive on D but the 38%-40% 3pt shooter looks like he's back. Da Silva again look like good weapon to bring off the bench with Moe out.

Cole is still a magic at heart. I flipped to the Bucks game and watched him immediately miss 3 straight free throws

I'll take it.
Not to mention 10 missed FTs..
Then again that is pretty normal for us

I don’t what to harp too much on Paolo’s defense because he has been good but he should have gotten back after his miss shot.

This current Magic team is young and on the rise I can’t say the same about the hawks.
Fair criticisms. He hasn’t elevated that team individually but he hasn’t had any proper help. He’s got the best supporting cast he’s ever had now. And all a shooting team needs is to get hot in the playoffs to make a surprise run. I think they’re geared for that, and he’s done it before.
That said, I think the Magic are more likely to be the Pacers-like darling this post season.

I'm not super concerned with Paolo right now. If he's out of shape, he'll get in better shape eventually just by playing.
I think he's just struggling with the new pace more than everyone else.
In some ways, I'm actually a bit optimistic that the Magic can still thrive when he plays poorly.

Can someone please explain why Nick Anderson was ever hired for a speaking role?

But they traded for Murray and they were still trash. They had bogdonavic as well. This is his best team but it's not some world beater that should be taken anymore serious then previous iteration of the hawks.

He is dreadful. He just needs to stick to being the public relations guy. Idk why they don't bring back mcw or bring in q rich more frequently. Or t ross

This change of pace offense is absolutely built for Franz and almost completely opposite of what Paolo is used to. No reason to worry....yet. But Paolo has got to find ways to be more involved in this offense then ISO in the halfcourt.

I am wondering if he is sick.
He looks drained. I noticed the same on Wednesday.
He’s leading the team in minutes - I don’t think they’d run him this hard if he was sick.
He played the first 10 minutes of Q1 and the last 8 of Q2. Not sure why Mosley is running him so hard for such long stretches?

You are absolutely correct, this should be the year they go far but if they don’t Trae will be gone.

The Suns in 2009 adopted a hybrid "Seven Seconds or Shaq" offense where the other 4 guys would all look to push the ball and get up a shot within 7 seconds like they had been doing the previous 3-4 years and if it wasn't there, then they wait for Shaq's big slow ass to get down court and dump it to him.
Maybe the Magic could do something similar with Paolo

Last year the Magic played buddy ball with Franz and Paolo, happy they are playing more of a team game.

He has actually played well for them, yes. Happy for him but glad he's gone. He needed a change of scenery.
