Im still not sure whats the point of telling the media that they will pick Lee if he is available. If it was me i would keep my mind shut and make everyone guess so i can have some leverage discussing trades. But didnt Detroit make a promise to Stuckey last year and they still got him so maybe its not that big a deal.

And my vote is CDR

Nothing has been said about Batum's health since he had to pull out of the stress test. Without any more information Batum has dropped to the second round in almost every mock except for Ford's and RealGM.
My vote for Thompson.

Batum cleared a physical. It was an anomaly.

Well he had better tell everyone else since he is falling like a rock in the mock drafts. Some anomaly since it was reported that his father died from a heart problem.

Can Batum play the 2 spot?
I know he is like 6'8? Maybe more of a SF.

I read somewhere (maybe CBS sports) that Batum is a SG stuck in a SF's body.... I don't know if that is good or bad...

Yeah they did make a promise to stuckey, but they didnt tell the beat reporters hours before the draft. It was one of those private guarantees that people later find out about after the draft.

I just hope this doesnt come back to bite him. Theres been 2 teams rumored to have interest in him, and so now that they know where he could be going, they might jump ahead.

Are we still considering acquiring a 2nd rounder? I'd be very disappointed if we don't.

Ya Fran did kinda ruin getting a international player for me. I just like Batum a lot
Say we dont get a 2nd round pick
Would we still go Sg? Or would we go big then use some or all of the MLE to get a SG
Or vice versa.

How can nbadraft.net have us taking Donta Greene at 22 and Portland taking Courtney Lee at 33 at this point in the draft?! That website has and will always be a complete joke.

Past Comparisons
Adam Morrison-LARRY BIRD
Omar Cook- JASON KIDD
Dwight Howard- KWAME BROWN
Deshawn Stevenson- MICHAEL JORDAN

The fact that the website still exists is amazing.

yea i dont see the reason to let everyone know you want lee if he is available, knowing several other teams have expressed interest in him..still could be a smoke screen, lets just hope otis has an idea of whats going on..
