Am i the only one who thinks the Lowry trade was bad for Houston ? Toronto will make a push to the playoffs with that team

Lowry, Derozan, Ross (I think he's pretty good and not as much of a reach as people said he was), Valencuinas (However you spell his name) Bargnani, among others.

Nelson said he’s talked repeatedly this summer with Howard, the Magic’s embattled superstar who has once again requested a trade. Nelson said that most of all he has tried to be supportive of Howard as a friend and not pester him with questions about his future.

``I’ve communicated with him quite a few times. He has decisions to make as well. I’ve tried to just be a friend to him and not talk so much about the other (trade) stuff,’’ Nelson said. ``I know everybody else in the world is talking about that. I hear it from people walking on the street wondering, `What’s Dwight going to do?’ Whatever he does I hope he’s happy and committed to it.’’

The leverage is always with Hennigan. If Dwights main suitors are out of the cap game in 2013, then the renter team is in the power spot. Given Dwight's personality, he'd eventually love even a renter team for 1 season and they have the new roster, market, and best max offer bird rights.

I say this keeping in mind that I'd still gamble keeping Dwight. Resign Jameer, make offer to CLee and make it happen. SnT Ryno for anything, start cutting 2013 money and have space for FA's and a radically better team. Depending what CP3 does with Dwight, no team will be sitting as pretty unless they got CP3 and Dwight level cap space on top.

In the offers front, the Lakers are still talking trade with ORL so if they really want to lose cap space, Pau and Bynum. Hou's pick from Tor, their own and prospects is still my favorite. GS might see the increasing leverage and up their offer. Atl is there too for an offer.

I'm starting to think the same thing but it is still early in the off season though. I'm actually more anxious to know who our head coach is going to be.
