with no rosters move that i made and granted the roster size was bigger than 15 but we still finished with the 10th pick. i did adjust the lineup to Play Harkless over turk because youth is better to play in turks case.

I assume 2k? Is this a PC version or can you download custom rosters in the console version now? (haven't played in years).

So I don't want to create a whole new thread for this, so I hope some questions I have can get answered here. -ahem-.

Since Jacque Vaughn is our brand spanking new rookie head coach, has anything heard anything on how he will play our new rookies? I'm not looking forward to fielding a team of Jameer/JJ/Hedo/BBD/Whoever every night. I'd like to see us put our rookies out there and get them some experience.

With the players we have now, what is our cap space going to be like this year (I know we can cut Hedo/Harrington's contracts.) Has anyone seen or read anything about what our possible off-seasons could look like in the next couple of years?

It's tough to hate the two big fellas of Magic history. They perpetuate the big market drive and edges, but they also gave us great years and playoffs. No reason not to thank Dwight, especially for his playoffs series win over CLE and LeBron 8-)

PC.

they had davis start at PF and Nicholson at center so i switched their positions.

my roster after 1 year after FA and trades i made:

PG: Holliday/Vazquez/Corey Joseph
SG: Keith Bensen/Jordan Crawford/James Anderson
SF: Harkless/Ariza/Turk
PF: Nicholson/Vucevic/Turkyilmaz
C: Ibaka/Kratstov/Eric

no rookies added because i didnt see anyone who felt good value and would contribute well for us as BPA was a PG and while PG was a slight need he wasnt a cant miss Prospect so i decided to focus on adding good depth and young talent.

ur thinking of fran. that aint fran plus fran aint a PG. this Vazquez is General Grievis. hes the 6 foot 6 pg on the Hornets 8-)

from wat i played with that team against the thunder is that they can stick with the thunder. :o Bensen used to be a center but lacks strength but is like super fast so ur talking a 6 foot 11 Shooting guard 8-). guys got good shooting skills might make him cover durant instead of harden

This would actually make a good separate thread imo - if something similar hasn't already been made.

I don't think JOCK mentioned his plans yet.
Nelson is a lock to start.
I see JJ backing up Afflalo. He may not make it to the end of the season as an expiring.
I'm hoping Turk comes off the bench as another sixth man type player. Harkless is probably not ready to start though... even on a crappy team. I wonder if Henny likes Harper and wants to see if he's worth re-signing? Eyenga may be too raw to get meaningful minutes. I hope QRich doesn't see the court again.
PF and Center positions will be tricky for the first half of the season... I expect Harrington to be dealt or bought out over the next year. If it's the former, we'll need to showcase him with lots of minutes to get the most value for him. I think you have to start Big Baby and Harrington... Then let Nicholson earn a starting spot instead of just gifting it to him. O'Quinn seems like a solid backup. And then you have Vučević and Ayon... Ugh, so many 4s and 5s. This board is going to go crazy with debates on who should get burn.

why not.. i wouldn't mind as long as we get him on a cheap contract. IMO though, the dude has had 3 microfracture surgeries...thats.....tough for anyone to bounce back from, but if theres a place to do it, its here.

Pretty sure another team he wants to actually play for will give him a shot... plus I doubt Henny wants to waste a roster spot on him. We just passed on Bynum and I would call him durable compared to Oden.

As far as Oden specifically goes, as long as I thought his heart and head and body were right enough to give him even a 50/50 chance at being a player again, I would give him a shot with a low risk deal.

But that is exactly the type of player we should be looking for whenever we have an open spot or two...someone who has the potential when given minutes to up their value considerably.

according to NBA 2k12 with Update 26 on it our lineup should be:

PG: Nelson
SG: Affalo
SF: Turk(more highly rated than Hark)
PF: Nicholson/Harrington(same player rating)
C: Davis(best player at PF and center and seemed to do well when playing center last year)

Oden/O'Quinn/Ayon
BBD/Drew/McRobert
Moe/Ariza
Afflalo/JJ/Liggins
Nelson/Flynn

Not bad for a start of a new era?

I'm I the only one who sees Dwight crying after he realizes he really is their Tyson Chandler? I mean, after Kobe, Nash and Gasol, he would be their 4th scorer? See ya 4th quarter! He's soon to realize he's no 1st 4th quarter option. Lol.

That seems like a plausible rotation. Starting Davis at the C instead of PF would make it easier to bring Nicholson into the starting lineup without controversy. I didn't realize Harrington didn't start at all last season. Faried took the spot right away as soon as Nene was gone. I would start Harrington for a few games until Nicholson is settled and then swap them. Who gets backup minutes between O'Quinn, Vucevic and Ayon while Harrington is around? I'd say Ayon is out of the running.

I would like to see that. I'm afraid he will get a ton of open dunks and putbacks that will offset the lack of touches though... I'm wondering if he'll still be grabbing 13-14 rebounds with Pau in the way...

xD. I wonder if the Lakers are going to put the Superman tune during games at the Staple Center.

About your question, I agreed in some but I think he will be either the 1st or 2nd option. He still younger than any Lakers starter. But with Kobe in the way I see many nightmare... Maybe SHAQ 2.0.
