Couple small updates... Bulls reportedly called Washington about the #3 and talks didn't get much further than that. Luol Deng staying put

Steve Kyler ‏@stevekylerNBA 15m
Mavs reportedly have 2 deals they can do with Shawn Marion and the #13 - one is with Cleveland and one with new Orleans.. neither seem close

Steve Kyler ‏@stevekylerNBA 15m
Minnesota has called a number of teams looking to move a pick for a veteran... could go big guy with the #9...

Steve Kyler ‏@stevekylerNBA 14m
Jazz also expected to go big with their first pick... not as in love with the points guards that could be there at 14 as they are the bigs.

we could trade BBD to the twolves for the no.9

or, who else could want Bledsoe that bad that they'd give up a bunch for him? Utah, Detroit, New Orleans, Sacramento, Boston and New York are probably the most PG hungry.

TEAM - ASSETS
UTAH - #14, #21, A.Burks
DETROIT - #8, Knight, Stuckey
NEW ORLEANS - #6, Gordon, Aminu, Anderson
SACRAMENTO - #7, Thompson, Patterson, Tyreke
BOSTON - #16, Garnett, Pierce, Sullinger, Bradley, Rondo
NEW YORK - #24, Shumpert

is there a big enough package that can get Favors/Drummond/Monroe/DMC on the move? Bledsoe + #2?

something like
LA Clippers get: AA
Utah Get: Bledsoe
Magic get: Favors, Butler

and yes utah would deal Favors for a Starting PG. Young Promising PG for young promising PF/C seems fair to me.

sorry, but you are crazy. No way Utah moves Favors for bledsoe.
well according to a post made a few mins ago the Jazz arent loving the PG class and seem to be favoring bigs which should make Favors Potentially Available.

Bledsoe had a 17.5 per last year as did favors. the winshares are almost the same .117 for favors and .115 for Bledsoe. they are Aproxamately Equal Talent

that doesnt mean they get rid of their young big. They are looking to go forward with Kanter and Favors. Hence Jefferson and Millsap moving on.

and approximately or not, unless it is a slam dunk, you dont trade big for small. And it isnt a slam dunk with Bledsoe. He has not shown to be anything more than an average PG as a starter.

if the jazz were smarter they would do this deal to become a Playoff team instead of being an almost all White team that is a Doormat

I can live with myself :) (depending on how the draft goes).

TBH I'd rather watch the draft than any other game this season, except maybe Dwight in Orlando.

Bledsoe has really good numbers. His STOCKS are excellent. Speaks to his high athleticism. Pairing that with Hark + one of the other through the roof athletes in this draft like Oladipo or Noel and you've got some serious defensive chemistry brewing.

Sure blocks+steals isn't the end all be all of defensive measurements but three of the top eight defenses also were top eight in STOCKS; Thunder, Spurs, and Clippers.

This is getting a little absurd. Favors has the potential of winning several Defensive Player of the Year awards, and is Utah's future. This year will be his breakout year, there is no way that Eric Bledsoe would be fair compensation for him.

ESPN Insider posted Tom Penn's WARP rankings. (I'll leave out his blurbs for each player, since it's Insider)

I start by translating a player's college statistics to their NBA equivalents. That produces a per-minute rating, player win% (equivalent to PER), that projects how we can expect rookies to perform in the NBA next season. By adding age, I come up with a projection of how many Wins Above Replacement Player (WARP), on average, prospects will produce over their first five years -- the amount of time teams control a first-round pick between the four-year rookie contract and one year as a restricted free agent.

LIKELY FIRST-ROUND PICKS

1. NERLENS NOEL, C, KENTUCKY
2. OTTO PORTER, SF, GEORGETOWN
3. KENTAVIOUS CALDWELL-POPE, SG, GEORGIA
4. CODY ZELLER, PF, INDIANA
5. C.J. MCCOLLUM, PG, LEHIGH
6. LUCAS NOGUEIRA, C, BRAZIL
7. TREY BURKE, PG, MICHIGAN
8. ANTHONY BENNETT, PF, UNLV
9. MICHAEL CARTER-WILLIAMS, PG, SYRACUSE
10. SERGEY KARASEV, SG, RUSSIA
11. STEVEN ADAMS, C, PITTSBURGH
12. GLEN RICE JR., SF, NBDL
13. SHANE LARKIN, PG, MIAMI
14. TONY MITCHELL, PF, NORTH TEXAS
15. ALLEN CRABBE, SG, CALIFORNIA
16. KELLY OLYNYK, PF, GONZAGA
17. VICTOR OLADIPO, SG, INDIANA
18. BEN MCLEMORE, SG, KANSAS
19. REGGIE BULLOCK, SG, NORTH CAROLINA
20. ISAIAH CANAAN, PG, MURRAY STATE
21. JAMAAL FRANKLIN, SG, SAN DIEGO STATE
22. TIM HARDAWAY JR., SG, MICHIGAN
23. ALEX LEN, C, MARYLAND
24. GORGUI DIENG, C, LOUISVILLE
25. TONY SNELL, SF, NEW MEXICO
26. MASON PLUMLEE, C, DUKE
27. SHABAZZ MUHAMMAD, SF, UCLA

NO PROJECTIONS: Antetokounmpo, Schroeder and Ledo

SECOND-ROUND STEALS

1. ANDRE ROBERSON, SF, COLORADO
2. D.J. COOPER, PG, OHIO
3. NATE WOLTERS, PG, SOUTH DAKOTA STATE
4. PIERRE JACKSON, PG, BAYLOR
5. ARSALAN KAZEMI, PF, OREGON
6. RYAN BROEKHOFF, SF, VALPARAISO
7. KHALIF WYATT, SG, TEMPLE
8. MIKE MUSCALA, C, BUCKNELL
9. MARKO TODOROVIC, PF, SERBIA
10. GRANT JERRETT, PF, ARIZONA

Here we go folks:

Chad Ford ‏@chadfordinsider 3m
And if Noel slides to No. 2? Sources say the Magic are ready to pounce on him. The latest

from someone in the Magic organization:

Sources cautioned that things could change in the next five days as the Magic continue to gather information. "If the draft was held today, Noel would be our first choice," one source told ESPN.com.

The Magic, according to sources, scouted Noel heavily during the season and have been doing exhaustive background work on Noel the past few months. The team believes that, with patience, Noel should end up being the best player in the draft.

Noel made a visit to the Magic on June 2 and sources said he wowed everyone despite the fact that he's still months away from playing basketball because of a torn ACL.

depends on what numbers you are talking about. He does not have good passing numbers, nor good shooting numbers.

An all white team? Really? When healthy, all five of Utah's starters were African American, so there goes your credibility. Besides, what does it matter?
