While I generally agree, Moe hasn't shown enough to be considered more than a bench player for now. That's not a knock, it just doesn't make sense that he start over other players that have shown more consistent promise.
For me, it probably doesn't help that I didn't like his game since college but I'm trying to give him the benefit of the doubt.

I think it's too early to say he'll be a career backup. He's still young. While he might never be an all star, he can still be a very solid starter one day.
Though I do agree that if we trade our vets and he ends up starting this year that next year he might very well end up back on the bench.
Edit: I apologize if you weren't saying he is a career backup.
