I’d whoop that ass.
Few things here. First, Ulis played for Kentucky which is in the SEC. Second, he was a badass there and would destroy any mere mortal. Third I think Ulis could well be suited to a role coming off the bench as an energy guy -- young pgs take a while to develop in the league and he is having a down year no doubt but I think that's due to a lot of factors. I could see him falling out of the league but finding a way back after a few years of seasoning. The guy has tons of guts and can shoot.
I could not care less about Ulis college career, whoever watched him in nba knows he can't play there. He is same weight as most of females who are not even fat (149 pounds) . He is 5 inches and 50 pounds away from being nba player.
btw good shooters don't shoot 26% for 3
I wasnt talking about Ulis in the NBA I was talking about lavar revived ball who said he could beat him 1v1.

I actually hope you guys take trae. I don't think he will be as good of a fit next to book as most suns fans think.

Yeah, we looked like a basketball team with Augustine starting the season, we look better since he's back. Imagine the team ball with Trae Young spreading and play making. Shooters spotted up (Fournier, Gordon, Ross, Vucevic) and driving lanes (Gordon, Isaac, Simmons), we really need to draft him

Dude Tyler Ulis lost all his athleticism after his ankle surgery over the summer. Look at the way he has played after the surgery! If Ulis was in the G league, he would average at best like 10 pts and 5 assists a game. I don't think its that outlandish for me to say I can beat someone who would average 10 pts and 5 rebounds a game in the G league....back when I lived full time in Bakersfield and when they had a D league team, the Bakersfield Jam, I've played against many of the Jam back up players at local parks and gyms and did well against em and beat them from time to time as well...and none of the ones I've played against were ever as short as Ulis! Maybe you assume all posters posting on RealGM are some 240 lb overweight fat *** sitting behind a computer all day...no, many of us actually work, exercise and live decent healthy lifestyles.
Tyler Ulis after that ankle surgery he had couldn't guard a mannequin if he wanted to. He is completely awful now and yes even many non NBA players can give him that work 1 on 1.

Dude, I'm not sure what's up with Tyler after a promising rookie campaign but let's not get carried away. You wouldn't be able to put the ball on the floor if Ulis was on you. He'd rip you so fast you'd lose your jock strap. We're talking about the ACC defensive player of the year here.

He was a badass at Kentucky and even last year for the Suns...there's no denying that! However, he became a complete scrub after off season ankle surgery. He wasn't an athletic player to begin with but after that surgery, he lost any remaining quickness he had.
I don't know if its possible to get back the quickness that he had before the surgery but if he doesn't then he's likely headed to the CBA or maybe the G league if he makes the cuts.

Bro, you're embarrassing yourself, now get outta here. Nobody here cares about how crappy Ulis is.

You haven't seen Ulis play after his surgery my friend...he may very well be the worst player in the league but to make things worse, he's also 5'9. But you're right, its time to end the discussion on Ulis in this thread about Elfrid Payton on the Orlando Magic forum

He’s put up plenty of triple doubles with us, and has always been a pretty good passer. We all know this and the Magic know this. But when it comes down to the matter of things. We still aren’t winning games. So yeah I think it was right to get rid of Elf and we should have moved on from Evan and Vuc as well. But we didn’t and now we have to play with what we have. And yes people can easily say the Magic don’t develop younger players correctly and I agree with that, but it’s not solely on the Magic. Each individual is given the opportunity to get better but it depends on themselves more than anything. Do they want to get better? Do they want to evolve from a slasher to a spot up shooter? Can they co-exist with players they may or may not get along with. Are the fully committed to what the coaches are preaching to them? Do they have the right attitude? Do they want to be the star of the team or are they happy to be a role player? Are they motivated to play the best basketball they can? There’s a lot more going on than just the organiziation not developing players. And being on a losing team for many years you start to grow doubt about your self as a player. A change for any player is a great way for a fresh start. And I can’t remember who was quoted by saying it but it was something along the lines of “after three years in the league you are who you are” or something to that affect
You might as well have written the same post after Dipo was traded. The magic organization has you sheep tied around their fingers. Credit to them.

The Magic ran a master class in propagandizing the sheep with this one.....

On the one hand it doesn't matter because the Magic are a Micky Mouse organization. They do not develop players. You are either good and leave or you play your average career in Orlando. You can look at Payton and see he has great potential. Just like Dipo had great potential. Just like Gordon has great potential but it will never be realized in Orlando. They need to lose the Amway Disney owner and management. Get some people in here that have an edge and try to develop some of these players into basketball players not bible thumpers with crystal clean images. Elfrid will succeed in another uniform.
What *are* these electrolytes? Do you even know?

So you guys honestly think that a player can leave us and become an all star in mere days? Come on logical sense is there is more underlying issues than just developing players

+/- -22 and they lost by a million points. He is good at producing empty stats for sure.
