Shot doesn’t look good to me but more than anything I just want to see him back on the court so this is promising news. I was prepared to give up all hope if he wasn’t reporting to training camp/not returning this season

People will see what they want to see but his shot looks fine to me. I wasn't looking for perfection to begin with but from that sample size it looks serviceable at the very least.
People should be excited but I'm sure that neurotic Sixer fan is trolling this thread from the shadows, he'll make sure and tell us "not to get too excited" while pretending he doesnt care as he wipes tears from his eyes and deletes his "There are new comments" notification.

“Even last summer, I was going three times a day (in workouts) and what I found out from the doctors is that I needed rest. With your nerves you can’t keep pushing and pushing and that’s was partly on my trying to push. But I learned that I needed the right amount of rest and I had to take some time off in order for me to get my nerves to calm down and my muscles to calm down. I was irritating the nerves more and it was going into my muscles. I had to learn, for the first time, to take time off. One thing I was raised to do was to work your way through your problems and that’s what I tried to do. But it’s about working smarter more so than just working harder.”

So maybe he won't be able to play a full season at all, because he needs to rest every X games?

No I don't think it necessarily means that, just that's what he had to do before he could start rehabbing and working back full speed again. Now it may be that he'll have to do that once the season gets going depending on how the muscles and nerves respond.

I LOVE HOW THE NARRATIVE IS CHANGING RIGHT BEFORE OUR EYES

I guess the played out narrative that he wouldn't play another single NBA game again got old? Now its his shot looks terrible and will never be the same player coming out of Washington LOL

No matter how bad people want to water it down at the end of the day we got Markelle for a guy who currently is unemployed and (3) SRP's.

From that perspective alone we knocked this trade out of the park. Kudos to management doing their homework and staying the course and being patient with Kelle

Exactly, if he's on the court playing that's a win in my book. Simmons clearly did not fit here and SRPs are a dime a dozen. Hell he was averaging 8 ppg at the start of last season with all the issues.

I'm just thrilled that he's going to participate and be part of the team. It's a good sign that he's at least going to play and is cleared to play without any restrictions. Fultz giving us anything will be huge for us this year and going forward. I won't have any expectations. He is essentially a rookie and going to have a lot of growing pains. And there's a chance that jumpshot doesn't translate to NBA games. But he's a really easy kid to root for and he makes this team infinitely more interesting to watch.

im just happy it looks like he's back to enjoying basketball but man im so excited. team will still probably put him on a load management program so he will rest games here and there and maybe not play all the pre season games, they will still keep cautious

After watching all the videos, I can't deny that his shot looks weird. I hope it works out for him.
