Not sure what you are watching but there is no question that JI defends Giannis at least as good and probably better than Kawhi does right now. Sure, Kawhi is stronger but JI has extra length and his instincts are quite similar. Clearly, JI has a lot of work to do on the offensive end -- but I think he is putting a stake in the ground in the competition for DPOY. Dude is a total stud on the defensive end and we should recognize that.

AD is winning DPOY.

Will be snobbed in MVP race, his team turned around from worst defense last year to one of best this year.
He is top 5 in blocks, gets lot of rebounds...

I think Bamba should be okay. He came back out there in the 2nd half to spell Birch and was moving around normal again.

Very good effort, but when only 2 players in the rotation can make a 3 at a decent clip, you have no chance against a top team in the modern NBA. Isaac and AG did an excellent job on Giannis and he still got efficient 32 point and 8 assists, he is just so incredible.

Birch's hustle is commendable and he sets great screens, but against a good D his lack of offensive skills limits our offense a lot.

The bench this time was back to being terrible offensively, Ross shot very well which is encouraging, but the offensive rating with Fournier on the bench was dreadful. Ross and Fournier should have played more minutes together, that was pretty much the only time our offense looked good in this game, which again shows how valuable shooting and spacing the floor is nowadays.

He jumps forward for no reason. Guy is 6'11, can shoot most of jumpshots without jumping.
It's not like anybody will block him.

I think the jumping forward is a result of the elongated low dip he does. I would like to see him get rid of or alter that extremely low dip as he loads up his 3 ball.

^^ Seeing that Birch offers next to nothing offensively and impacted our spacing, Mo's ability to knock down the open 3 would have been a big help had he not gotten knocked out of the game when he did. Mo has been showing improvement this season so don't really see the need to knock him down. Hopefully he can continue to contribute once Vuc returns to the lineup.

When Gordon scores efficiently we are quite good offensively especially with Vucevic. If we traded Gordon for someone who does it consistently we would be top 4 in the east. I dont think Gordon has much role left on our team. Changing scenery would be very good for him and for us.

When I read this absurdity and other opinions along those lines I just have to take a deep breath to refrain from letting lose a string of expletives. Last 4 games AG is averaging 18.5-11-3.7 while playing defense at a damn high level. Its laughable to me that people think AG is the problem -- he is an excellent, EXCELLENT complimentary player who plays exceptional perimeter defense, is on a team friendly contract and has never had any issues off the court and is, by all accounts, someone everyone on the team likes.

LETS TRADE HIM ASAP!!!

Oh, but you mean if we just trade him for someone who scores more consistently. Sure, let's trade him for James Harden. I mean, what do people really think when they say these kind of things? I just don't get it. Sure, if we could get a top tier player like, say, Bradley Beal I think everyone understands that AG is a piece that you would give up in that deal to make it happen. But trading him to get a piece like say, Malik Beasley, where there has been trade talk and Magic interest would make sense just seems rather myopic to me. I'm not opposed to bringing in Beasley or another consistent shooter at all but involving AG in a trade without getting back a star or potential star (understanding other pieces would need to be involved) just seems dumb.

AG is a valuable, valuable player. Why on earth do so many want to just give him away.

As someone who watched the bucks for years as they were coming up (huge Jabari fan) I completely disagree. And not to state the obvious, even if we are talking about three years ago, there is not one player on the magic who is on the same level as Giannis.

I'm speaking generally. Barely in the playoffs. Team developing. May pop in 1 year out the next.

That's not his name at all. Far from it. With Vuc playing the last time we faced the Bucks, we got blown out. When we relied on our wing scoring and let our guys get into a groove, we kept it close. Vuch for DeAngelo Russell makes so much sense right now.

It's gonna be a great day in Orlando when we finally realize that using a Vuc-based offense is a waste, especially in light of the fact that he doesn't even get to the line. The trend in the NBA is wing scoring and getting to the line. Period.

It's amazing to me that our wing scorers have performed so well since he went out. They're allowed to get into a comfortable groove instead of Cliff's gameplan: Give the ball to Vuc.

We have Gordon, Isaac and Aminu with similar strengths and similar weaknesses, we have Okeke as another forward. You cant have nba team where half players cant shoot and cant drive to the basket. We will have to make a move sooner or later. You like AG thats fine. I like Isaac more and i believe in Okeke skillset. Of course i would like a star for AG, but right now he doesnt have such a value and you never know if his value will increase or decrease in the future.

 Another one who's not supposed to exist. Perfect timing, thank you. Not accurate though. Too many players were playing out of control and looked rusty out of the gates. Shortly after promoting Fultz and before Vuc went down they were playing much better like they did in the second half of last season. Fournier in those games: 19 ppg on 11.5 fga (55% fg, 61% 3p), so clearly he was already on fire with Vuc. Ross is back to playing like the human torch off the bench just as he did last season with Vuc. The significant development is Fultz replacing a struggling DJ as a starter.

Replcace Vuc with AG and I'll let you back into the cool people's club.
