Hope he can have a good offseason working on his personal offense. With his combination of size and athleticism, there's no reason he can't at least be a decent slasher. And he did show a touch on his 3-point shot at one point (starting the season).
He’s a contributor, just not a focal point contributor. We had people wanting Joe Ingles benched or shipped out to start the season, so I don’t think most people appreciate what players do unless it’s scoring or a highlight reel play.
Black is raw but he’s getting by. It took Suggs 2 seasons to grow into what he is today so I’m patient with Black. The fact he’s not holding us back as a mistake prone rookie is a great start if we’re realistic about him and his game.
