The best thing I can say about WCJ is that he has shown he can be a serviceable big at some point but whatever he is now is just not it. Whether it's the plantar fasciitis or the hand injury or whatever, he is just way too unreliable on a play to play basis

He refuses to move dead weight and holdovers.

He wants everyone to line their pockets and retire here instead of making decisions. Carter and Isaac would have been moved years ago anywhere else in the league.

He has lost so much bounce over the last 2 years. He was still under contract for another season, I have no idea why they needed to resign him last summer. The conditioning team needs to figure out how to get him back to where he was athletically.

Well yeah, but really we all would have expected to be completely buried by now if we had been told before the season what kind of obstacles we'd face. This is a low point right now, but we still remain in a workable position. The team has worked really hard and fought through a lot. I'm giving up on Wendell, I've seen enough over the years from both a talent perspective (he was never especially skilled) and competitive perspective (never stepping up) to comfortably disown him. But I'm not giving up on the team as a whole. It's painful right now but I really feel like they have earned more credit than is being given here.

Turns out not having three 95th + percentile defenders in the starting lineup is a big deal for a team predicated on defense.

I'm so desperate for scoring that I'm hoping for a trade for Lavine... with all of these losses, our 1st rd pick will be more valuable at least...
