Maluach seems like a dinosaur in today's nba.... Classic rim running lob threat big that can block shots.... That's pretty much it

He looks risky to me, but he has Embiid's size.

There's only a handful of Centers that can guard the perimeter as well as he can

Queen is extremely talented on offense and you can definitely see him adding a respectable 3. That defense though man, not great.

I like Wolf more every time I watch him. I could even see him being able to play some 4.

I’ve only seen a scouting video on him so it’s mostly highlights but he looks legit. That handle and offensive ability in a C is interesting - I wonder how that could be partnered with Paolo/Franz? He looks like both Wagner brothers combined into in one 7ft body. Michigan connection will be interesting to monitor, too.

If he was a good defender, he'd be perfect on our team. He'd also be a top 5 pick however.

I feel the same as you about how he isnt a good fit next to Paolo. A team with a defensive 4 could end up getting a potential all star out of him though. He'd look great on the Wizards next to Sarr.

We need someone who can give us offense off the bench if Moe isn't ready.

The criticisms of Maluach and the cheers for Wolf seem completely without any respect for or with ORL's current roster. Queen too...is that really the kind of guy that plays with Franz & Paolo...if not, just forget it!

It's going to be a good draft. It seems like most of these guys are delivering every game even as the stakes get higher.

We have 4 technically, but that second 2nd is at like 58 I think which is really not any better than an undrafted guy. Our own 2nd is 44 now I think which is relatively real. I would hope they move up in the 2nd if there is someone they like because I really think the beginning of the 2nd this year will be pretty loaded and they own multiple 2nds for like 3 straight years.

Yeah agree completely. Like there's a point where if Queen is there at 15 or Wolf is there at 27 that the value may be too good to pass up, but agree not ideal fits at all IMO. I really like Sorber honestly if all of my guys get taken. Has that foot injury now, I'm really not too sure about the timetable.

Probably better trading for a veteran C like Gafford rather than aiming to draft a starting C. I'd take Wolf as a potential Moe Wagner replacement and bench scoring big. I like the way Wolf can create his own buckets and move the ball (he makes some nice skip passes and cross court passes but he does turn it over a lot) - gotta imagine he could help Paolo and Franz both get easier scoring opportunities with those skills. He could be an Olynyk or Plumlee type down the road.

I still think there could be lineups where Franz and Paolo move to 1/3 or 2/3 with a "finesse" big at PF like Moe or Wolf and a simple brute at C like Gafford or Goga or Maluach.

FO could also, in an attempt to clean up the books a little bit, draft a guy like Wolf and NOT exercise Moe's TO. Moe won't be back for a while and probably wouldn't get signed in his current injured state. It wouldn't be a "nice" thing to consider, but $11m is a lot for, basically, a third-string Center...as valuable as Moe is to our bench offense, he's the biggest $$ among our TO guys and also likely out for half of next season. From a coldly objective perspective, it might be the sensible move.

I'd love to upgrade starting C to Maluach or Gafford, with Goga backing him up until Moe returns...but with WCJ still here, and minutes from Isaac or even Paolo at C...it's just too many getting paid too much. Love to move WCJ towards obtaining a guard and then, when Moe is back, possibly move Goga too - as he should have some value. A realistic 3rd-String Center should just be a huge, energetic, physical body like Jaxson Hayes making $3m or less and going bonkers whenever he's lucky enough to get minutes.

We must not have Weltman be involved in this upcoming draft, he "Flattened Out" years ago!

If they take Wolf I’m done. Dude screams oldest, smartest player who benefits from a college system. Dude is a turnover machine, 21st worst in CBB, mediocre defender, lacks physicality & he needs the ball to be who he is.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.
