What this tells me is that every one knows what the Magic needs. And if Weltman thought he was squeezed during the trade deadline then watch what happens during the summer. Good luck

IF Harris remains healthy, he could ramp up and be good by the end of the season.

Wow that’s crazy. Fans sometimes get criticized by teams for not being realistic or whatnot, turns out the fans are absolutely right on this one. But it is so obvious.

I still think he's a good player, but he needs a lot of reps to get back.

Even if we talked Portland into taking KCP, Simons' agent may have wanted an extension we couldn't afford this summer. So, we would've given up assets for a team that wouldn't work long-term.

He was aggressive, forced the defense to collapse and found teammates for good shots. Played good defense. We should just pre retire Gary and make sure Jett gets burn rest of the season.

Very underwhelimg performance, but we needed the win badly and we got it. Hopefully the break will help our guys recharge their batteries both physically and mentally, we have to play with a lot more energy than we've shown lately.

An update to box-score thoughts: Harris' stat line.

Dude went Plus-16 in 12 minutes "played" where he had zero shots, zero assists, zero rebounds. He did have a personal foul and a block. So I guess that means the Magic was only playing 4.1 on 5 when he was on the court, rather than 4 on 5.

How can his presence on the court be tolerated?

Joseph in 3 minutes played had a larger impact, as one example.

This graphic clearly illustrates why Banchero should win the vst over Black!
Banchero was better on offense AND better on defense.

Disagree, Black played in white flag minutes which means his stats could be inflated both negative and positively. Yet I still say give it to Black.

Nurkic should probably stick to what he knows...and i am not even sure that is playing basketball at this point.

Given that Orlando won convincingly, I don;t think there can be a wrong answer here.

For me: Banchero's 24/6/8 was a team leading performance.

Also, Black was not on the court when the Magic turned their game around in the 3rd.

One thing I don't think we discussed: it was nice to see that Banchero could relax in the 4th. I loved "Cheerleader" Banchero during the small-ball run of the 4th quarter.

I was actually wondering if bringing KCP off the bench isn't a good idea. He might just need a change and ...he can't throw a ball in the ocean.

I guess we don't have anything better waiting...maybe Suggs/Jett experiment? Even if KCP got more minutes than Jett...maybe a 1st qtr heat-check?

I don't know what Jett's all-around ceiling is at this point...but i don't doubt he's the most likely guy on the roster to hit 8 3's in a game.

I'm down but I'd rather have Ab/Suggs so Suggs can go back to being a sg.

Yeah, cause Gary Harris played pg last year.

No but Fultz sure did.

I think they weee actually on a five game winning streak. Though, I am not sure of the amount.
