can't wait to see shaq/howard match-up next season... if shaq is still performing at a high level, it's going to be a joy to watch

also, tyronne lue needs to come off the bench for alston in the 2nd half... cuz by the time AJ makes it to the 3rd, he's completely gassed... it'd be nice if we got fresh legs out there to handle and pass coming out of the half

pretty much, split AJ's bench minutes with Lue

i dunno, lue doesn't seem to know how to pass anymore... in a magic uni this season he's only handed it off to turk, passed it lazily, or had his shot blocked.

that's the same thing i saw AJ do in the 2nd half out there... coughed it up so many times trying to bring it up court :-/

i'm sure it couldn't be any worse

AJ is alright coming off the bench, he has his spurts, but when he's tired... it's really a hindrance to the team... because hedo has to handle the ball anyways, and AJ is just another body out there, not an offensive threat...and definitely a defensive liability

idk, neither are any better... but i'd take a fresh guy off the bench in the 2nd half to come in for Alston instead of AJ

you guys hearing SVG on the radio? lol. he just called out shaq for flopping... said something like "shaq talks a lot about big men flopping, but there was only one big man out there that flopped tonight and it was him... so ask him about it. i was shocked."

Dwight just interviewed on NBATV too. Spoke highly of Shaq and of Rafer.

Gortat just had an epic radio interview.....

Some highlights....

-The comparison between Shaq and Dwight isn't even close. Dwight is much better, hands down. Shaq takes too many possessions off.

-"If Shaq gets position on me, i'll first try to block the shot, if not, i'll just flop"

-"I'm going to eat five chickens before we play Phoenix next year"

dwight again, with some classy comments

this guy is so awesome, raised well, doesn't talk crap to anyone... just goes out and plays hard every night

wish there were more players like him with that attitude

Gortat with easily the best postgame interview of the season. He went on for 5 minutes and it was just epic. "Shaq's old."

Dwight: "Respect your elders." :lol:

Hopefully someone posts the transcripts of the interviews tonight, best stuff I've heard all season. Rashard and Skip also were interviewed.

Just an awesome postgame that everyone should hear/read.

So... I am super pissed I missed this game... I was sitting in class for 4.5 hours. But I had my mini feed updating me from my cell phone! I saw in the first quarter Dwight started off fast blocking one of Shaq's lay up! Awesome game, great win.. even though I didn't see it

Oh and I believe it was FFBlitz who said something about Rashard not scoring 30 in a long time in the last thread, well he only got 29 but I think the 12 boards makes up for the last point! I think Shard reads these boards for motivation lol. So Shard I bet you cant go for fotry you pansy...

Also, great point by Stan. First game all season Dwight was fronting his defender leaving him away from rebounding opportunities (which Rashard took it upon himelf to capitalize on gobbling up boards). Stan said Dwight likes to front and that he's the best in the league at it, but we can't afford to give up his rebounding ability.
