This is so terrible for the league. Miami, Boston, LA are all manufactured teams. They did not legitimately builds those teams. It just sends the message out to everyone that you can't get it done the right way.

Or it says this is a new era and the only way to build a championship team is through good ol' boy GM trades and collusion amongst players. The draft is nothing more than a way to acquire trade assets now.

Just to set the record straight:

I am a Magic fan. I am a normal guy. I live in St. Louis, so me having any connection to the RDV is slim. However, I have always gone out of my way to be friendly to people, so I have earned the respect of a few people who DO have connections in the RDV. They tell me info. Sometimes it sounds like opinion, so I don't post it. There are some guys who I trust more than others. I don't post something if I think it is bogus. I also don't post anything I haven't received permission to post.

Will anything I say come to fruition? Who knows. The people who I know are only told half of the story - the Magic side. Otis can offer this for that all day long, but who is to say what the other teams think? I know we have been in negotiations with New Orleans since the trade deadline. I don't know the Hornets' thought process. I can just tell you who Otis is after.

I do not appreciate attacks on my character. Again, I am a fan passing info along, not some narcissistic, egomaniacal psycho who is bent on leading everyone astray. I tell you guys because it is fun to share it, same as I call my friends when I find something out. Am I upset when rumors don't come true? Of course, no different from you. I am a fan. To be vilified isn't worth it. To be called a liar and a lunatic isn't worth it.

^^ Hey Rev, I wanna apologize if made you seem like an "insider" by asking for info from you. I understand your a fan like us and totally respect and thank you for whatever you post. As bball fans we all know people who know people hear more stuff than actually happens (Even HowardMass has mentioned this a couple of times)

I know some posters give you a hard time, but I hope you just disregard it. I appreciate what you do for magic fans.

The only reason I asked was b/c it's still sort of fun just to hear what *might* happen even if it never goes...once again...thanks for what you do here and apologies if I misrepresented you...didnt mean to do that at all..

Hey Rev, don't even sweat it. No need to apologize or feel different. We know that you are a fan just like the rest of us, and it just so happens some fans take their love one step further. You post on Realgm and Ozone and from what I can tell, only hardcore fans actually take the time to post on message boards. We know you do this for fun, otherwise if you had real information surely you wouldn't post them on a public message board, you'd sell them to the highest bidder! don't let a couple bad eggs ruin it for you. i'm having fun, you're having fun, we're all having fun.

Did he really leave because of my post? Lol, he did say he still thinks we were after CP3 tho and i was just answering someone's question. Obviously my statement was partly made in jest(w/ the 'rolleyes'), but honestly, I dont see what I did wrong. People need to lighten up... Who really cares anymore though, if we get CP3 great, but we've heard these same rumors for almost a month now w/ almost no new details other than 'talks are ongoing'. If nothing has happened in 3-4 weeks, excuse me for getting a little tired of here the same recycled info.

I feel like we're all pawns right now, and it's starting w/ RevTy.... From what I feel, he is being fed information that either isn't entirely on point or isn't imminent. Clearly i have no reason to think he'd intentionally make stuff up or lie to us(and I dont think I suggested that). It's just my opinion that his sources are either 1)being mis-directed, 2)they are mis-directing him, or 3)they aren't leaking him imminent info... I mean why didn't we even know about Duhon deal until after he signed, for example..? Had me feelin like a pawn cuz he wasn't on anyone's immediate radar.

Im not questioning anyones character or intent. RevTy, i personally dont care for your info right now, but i'm sure plenty of other do. Dont chastise them for my personal beliefs. The rolling eyes was only because we've beaten the CP3 horse to death. At this point, i'd rather not be teased personally. If we get him great, but i'd raher just wait until it happens. For sake of those who want your info, i dont see why u would leave though.
