No way, his agent got to him and he flip flopped again. Last night his family convinced him to commit and he called Alex to let him know of the decision, then Fegan got to him again.

We had every right to be... after the Nets fans being annoying, the media, and the way Dwight's handling all of this, we deserved to act the way we did.... I don't mean going to the Nets board and laughing at them, but, what we did here was fine with me.

You guys reacted like any other fanbase would. Pissed when your star tries to **** you over, but ecstatic when EVERY report said he wanted to stay. It just sucks that he's messing with everybody in this. If he came out and stated what he wanted, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

I like you. :D why can't you be every Nets fan?

If he backs out, it's going to make this hurt more for some Magic Fans.

I'm prepared either way but his rep will be destroyed here if he does not sign that document.

Well according to Nyce_1, any bad news that happens is my fault. So send all your angry letters and threats to the houses of Billy King and Mikhail Prokohorov. I live there. Thank you.

If true I wish the magic would not let him play tonight
he doesn't deserve to wear these colors anymore

I think if you put McGee back then, he would get those blocks just as easily as Russell did. Russell's athleticism was well ahead of the players of his time, and that's about it.

Doris Burke said during the Pacers/Sixers game that she personally hopes Dwight is traded so that we do not talk about this for another 3 months and ruin the playoffs with off season talk

Lol Paul Porter is being so blunt right now...usually these magic-hired scrubs stick to the company script.

I wonder if the opt-in thing was a stalling tactic to screw up the Magics trade opportunities for today? Make them think he's opting in and not look for a deal. If so he should be ashamed of himself.

You are right, if he doesn't sign he will go down as an ALL TIME villain. You can't do this to an organization, fans, etc. It's no right and all this from a guy who was supposed to be one of the "good" ones.
