This is an absolutely brutal blow for LA.

They lost one of the toughest guys in the entire league, and now their playoff hopes rely on the biggest, most heartless pussy shart in the entire league.

I despise the Lakers, but, even I feel slightly bad for them. I wouldn't wish relying on Howard on my worst enemy. That poon will crumble under the the slightest bit of pressure. The Lakers are done.

Dwight's scoring has been up lately, but he's also been rebounding like a chump in these last handful of games when he's needed the most... like 7 per avg over the last 5 games. I think he might have tweaked his back or something.

this actually makes me upset. i didnt want the lakers to make the playoffs..but only bc of dwight..and i def didnt want to see kobe get injured like this. he has been amazing to watch and an injury like this will set him back 1 year. hard to see him ever being the same after this many miles on his feet but if anyone can do it it is him. he'll need to stop being as aggressive and rely on his iq be a steve nash like player.

Amnesty Kobe, get rid of Pau and MWP, sign Ellis and J. Smith, resign Dwight. No worries. As long as they don't suck next year and get a lotto pick, they do own their first rounder next year.

If he can come back in 6 months or even before the new year, I doubt LA will amnesty him...

That's better IMO because it screws the franchise more. It might actually work out for them if they amnesty him. But they wouldn't have $$ to sign him in 2014-2015 if they did and sign Ellis or J. Smith this summer.
