I don't know why Evans gets all this hate. The guy seems to have some sources out there. He's broken certain stories before other outlets have. Some people just seem to like calling everyone a "fraud" for no reason. I've actually never read on here "oh yeah he's good, he has sources" about anyone.

I say Pelicans... we move up if they win. I don't think we'll be able to get by the Suns unless we trade Ibaka for scraps and start playing mario and biz big minutes soon... at least they'd be keeping LA back for us or philly to knock out of the top 3.

Glad Lakers won but the tank race just got harder. The 76rs suck again with Embiid out and the Twolves are just sad. Wiggins is so stupid. Passed up a wide open 3 to take a contested two pointer missed no wonder. No wonder fans get pissed at him.

I've been thinking we were due some lottery magic to make up for Dwight leaving for the past 4 seasons. At this point I'm thinking we've used up all our magic and basketball karma early on with hits on Shaq/Penny/Tmac/Dwight, and that we've actually been in the red the past 4 years and consequently paying off our debt.

Maybe if I don't have hopes for a top 3 pick, we might actually get lucky and get one? Seems like life always works that way in other areas.

why does the same dont apply to Holiday? seems they want full value not half not 75% full.

Propably Payton+Vuc+Mario+ some 2nd rounder would make them think twice before haniging out it would be for Holiday+Evans+ 1rd pick (again maybe they overvalue their pick)

Looking at standings / remaining schedules, I think the best we can hope for is 5th worst record.

The teams under that either want to tank or are so bad they don't have a choice (Brooklyn).

The teams above may still have a sniff of the playoffs until it's too late.

But to get 5th worst we need to start the tank now because waiting until the trade deadline could be the difference between 5th worst and 10/11th worst.

blegh. So basically we'll get someone who doesn't have any basic basketball skills. But that's ok because at least he has potential, and we get to "develop" him.
