Who's idea is that? I think I like it, but I dunno. Coming off the bench is probably the best role for him.

That said, I've become a big T-Ross fan. I hope he stays around for his next contract. Great team guy. Plays with a lot of heart and hustle.

It's kind of amazing really. Ross used to be a quality, albeit streaky, scorer and shooter who didn't really do much else well.

Now? He's turned himself into a nice little defender but can't seem to make a shot anymore.

As a starter, people put high expectations on players. Streaky shooting is no good. Off the bench it's more acceptable.

His defense was always underappreciated, never great enough to deserve notice... but never bad... and that's good.

But Fournier gets lost so much on defense lol.

Would you do it? I would if the Lakers 1st was just lotto protected and not top 25 protected.

I don't think we'll get much for Vuc but I think we can do better than what is just going to be a mid 20's pick and an expiring deal after how he's stepped up so far this season. Being protected just makes it even worse.

What would you want from Charlotte for Nikola Vučević. Charlotte badly needs a 2nd option with the starters and can cover his defensive limitations. Problem is both of our teams have way too many centers. Would need to unload one of Cody Zeller or Bismack and no way in hell is Clifford taking back Bismack.

I'm mildly interested in Graham. I liked him in last years draft. Not sure what a trade would look like though.

Bridges can play the two for us, Monk projects to be a good 6th man, which is really vital.

Orlando needs a PG. A starting level PG. Doubt Hornets trade Kemba so I dont think orlando and hornets are good trade candidates right now unless we get a 3rd team involved. The next move Orlando makes has to be for PG.

I like the starters of Vuc, Isaac, Ag, Founier and DJ. That is 5 capable 3 pt gunners that can open the floor. Theoretically this 5 is unguardable. Coupled with our good defense we can compete with this starting 5. Our line up from starters to reserve have the length to bother other teams until they adjust. I dont like the idea of trading at the moment. I certainly know the history of losing with Vuc and Fournier as our scoring leaders. But coach Cliff is a different, he has the ability to make all this players work together. He is innovative enough to gameplan our way to teams playing bullyball or smallball. I like our off the ball movement now compared to last year when some guys are just waiting in the wings with iso ball of simmons and AG. Hopefully we give it a chance atleast until all star break.

Listen there are two things we need: A starting caliber PG and a knock down shooter. Not many available starting caliber PG that would move the needle for me right now. But the Lakers make a lot of sense to be trading partners with for Vuc. Be happy to see Vuc go back to LA.

I wouldn't do it unless it was top 5 or 10 protected. They should be middle of the pack possible playoff team. They have no use for a draft pick really they are trying to win now for LeBron.

But the player I'd want form them is their rookie Svi Mykhailiuk. Dude has great size and athleticism like Hammond and them like. Plus dude can shoot the hell out of the ball. I was sold on him after summer league, we need a pure shooter badly. If he gets a real shot with LA Bron is going make him a bunch of money.6

Svi and a top 10 protected 1st rounder for Vuc would do it for me. Play him and see if he is the real deal and it makes Fournier expendable for a PG possibly.
