I don't care if it looks weird... personally.... as long as he can shoot with comfort and no inflammation #winning

We're so starving for a PG that MCW shooting 33% and 16% from 3, looked like a borderline allstar.j-ragg wrote:Jumper doesn't look like much but I'll take any kind of playing.
This team has shown the last couple years if they get anything from the PG, we're a pretty good team.

I really do feel sad for the rest of the league now. Some of them tried sooooo hard this summer!

Not that you suggested anything different but ...
I still stand by everything I said here and elsewhere before that draft.
Fultz is the closest thing I have seen to prime time D.Rose in any draft class since.
If he can get back to anywhere close to what he was then we have a star at PG, not just a contributor ... and we got him for pennies on the dollar.

release point is a little low, and its definitely different than what it looked like in college but I've seen much worse looking jumpers. As long as it goes in.

It does look a little flat to me too. Still, they wouldn't release this video and Weltman wouldn't say what he did unless they felt really good. I'm no doctor, but if he can shoot without pain, he is at least talented enough to figure out how to be an impact player. The talent is there and he must have been working hard. The rest is up to the coaching, his mental health and physical health.

Didn't see this posted yet but it was a great listen. Fultz talks about how TOS effected him on and off the court.

Re: Markelle Fultz Updates Thread
Let's not continually shift the goalposts right now at least. Half of the NBA/even our own fans didn't think he'd be ready for training camp let alone play any meaningful minutes for us, and we're already critiquing the shot? I don't think it ever looked perfect, but if he at least looks comfortable shooting the ball, that's all we should hope for. I literally heard someone say "It doesn't look like Devin Booker's or Klay Thompson's..." and if that's the expectation that some people have.. then wow.

I understand that the GB is toxic in general (mainly why I dont post there), but you would think Fultz did something to posters families by the level of hate and vitriol they have for him. Like, imagine wanting a 21-year-old kid that you have never met to fail as badly as posters want him to over there. It is truly bizarre behavior.

It’s not just the GB here. Go check out the Facebook Orlando Magic page.
People here at least went out of their way to find a place to talk Magic or general NBA basketball. Facebook opens to floodgates to the general public which brings an entirely new level of ignorance, stupidity and hate.

Very random question - does anyone know a person called "SixersSam" on Twitter?

The release doesn't seem to be in sync with the rest of his body, but I'm not really going to read much into it right now.
I'm not as excited as everyone else because it was always my expectation that he would play sooner or later. He could only ride the rehab thing for so long.
I hope everyone tempers their expectations though. There is a learning curve and pretty much every rookie point guard struggles out of the gates. Some show demonstrable improvement over the course of their rookie seasons, but almost every one of them is a net negative on the floor. There are going to be a lot of bumps on the road and we've seen how quickly people turn on our prospects.
"Xatticus has always been, in my humble opinion best poster here. Should write articles or something."
