Give it 15 games and Bamba is out of this rotation. The writing has always been on the wall.

He always looks so good protecting the rim..

Isaac never getting the chance to play Center feels like one of the bigger what-ifs on this roster..

I know we're saying we only need Vuc or Ross to turn it on in the 2nd half to win this, but all the Raptors need to do is score during a 10 minute drought to be destroying us.

If Fultz is going to come in so early in the 1st and end the game with the starters, why is Cliff not just starting Fultz?

It would be a good time to trade him for DLo. I think they have to wait until December though

If we can get DLo for AG and something other than JI and Fultz, I do that all day long.

Bamba and AG for Dlo

I’m finally there with AG. He’s better than what we’re seeing but he is what he is.

I don't know. Bamba still has value IMO but we'll kill it if he's out of the rotation.

I'm with you here. A huge part of me wants to see Isaac as the starting 4 *and* backup 5 and Bamba just out of the rotation entirely.

AG does somehow have 4 assists at least even with us shooting 32%.

I need to see more Fultz action.

Sorry, didn't see your reply. But I don't think you will get a significant return for AG. He really is just a role player, look at how he is playing.

We have no offensive flow when Fultz plays with the starters. Not because of Fultz, because Cliff runs the offense through AG and Evan instead of Fultz. Just so dumb.

Agreed at the moment so why dump him if value is low?

The problem is it is a cascading effect. If you game plan and style your offense around Ross, Vuc, and Evan and they are playing as horrid as they are, the other guys can't play their game and also start playing like crap. AG still has 4 assists this game even though we are shooting in the single digits. AG has been pretty crap so far this year, but it starts at the top and rolls downhill.

Exactly my thoughts. I think it would benefit both Isaac and the team. There’s lots of depth and capital invested at C though.

My take on the first half...

It seemed like we were intent on using Gordon to facilitate to start the game. That was working well enough until he got his pocket picked by McCaw and got the offensive foul against Lowry. We were getting good shots, but Isaac was the only one able to hit anything to start the game. Toronto was executing really well to start the game and didn't miss anything early on. Lowry killed us for most of the half.

The turning point in the half for me was when MCW came in to guard Lowry. Toronto's offense died. Aminu gave us some really good minutes as well. Fultz went MIA on those last couple defensive possessions and it cost us five points. Lowry got the 3-point play because of Gordon's foul, but he wasn't slow to help. Fultz just made it way too easy for Lowry to get to the basket. Fultz failed to pick up Lowry at the end of the half and he coasted down the court for a layup. That's inexcusable.

If we can continue to defend the way we did for most of the 2nd quarter, this game is very winnable.

Idk, it feels like each minute he plays his value continues to plummet. We were better off moving him when our excuse not to play him was an injury.

Hopefully this 2nd half can go our way. I finally was able to find a Magic stream for this game. The Raptors commentary was getting annoying.

Return to Orlando Magic
