I've watched it 3 times and maybe again in the future. The fans reaction to the Wagner pick at 8 IS NOT GOOD. There are a number of fans not happy with the Wagner pick, it's more than just me. The fans reacting to the Suggs pick vs the Wagner pick is totally different. I'm 100% sold on SUGGS, Wagner I don't know but the % is more than 0. It could be I don't remember watching Michigan basketball last year but I've seen Gonzaga, UCONN and Arkansas play a number of times last year.
And most of them admitted that they didnt know much about him/watched him play which is common with casual college fans. Hes a smart player that makes game winning plays and he’s a stud on defense not to mention we needed wing depth. I thought we won the draft hands down.

Are the 6th Man pod hosts on here? I'd love to talk to them about their post-draft opinions.....

Michigan was a #1 seed. You’re admitting to following some teams but not paying attention to one of the 4 best teams in the country. That’s fine, we all follow the teams we enjoy but that’s also entirely on you. This isn’t some random unheard of program. If you didn’t follow #1 Seed Michigan enough to be aware of Franz Wagner then I repeat … that is on you.

#1 seed that plays a balanced play of basketball... which makes statistics a little harder to gauge... I'm trying to make a winning team. And i'm totally down for players shining when they have the advantage and the team continues to roll on team play... instead of having stat padders that rack up losses. TEAM PLAY is what i am seeing being built here with the number of unselfish yet talented/skilled players we are bringing in.

Wagner is not a sexy pick like Suggs but reports have multiple teams loving him where we picked.

i didnt see a lot of Michigan either. here in Atlanta, it was mostly SEC games that were on TV. i would have had to go specifically out to Big10 bars or some pay per view service. right now, i couldnt tell you the name of any other player on their team.

So we are 3 days past the draft now and We are still feeling like "I CAN'T BELIEVE THE MAGIC GOT JALEN SUGGS". It still feels like we are in fantasy that we got Jalen Suggs.

I'm surprised that Jalen Suggs couldn't get jersey #1. I know Isaac wear's #1 and it doesn't appear he wants to give it up. I think Suggs has to have a good rookie year and than maybe the following year Isaac can give up his #1 jersey when Suggs enter's 2nd year. If Isaac doesn't give up his #1 jersey the following year, I would trade that dude so Suggs can wear #1 in his sophomore year.

I'm very sure Suggs choose to wear #4 because the RAPTORS PASSED ON HIM AT 4. So that's Suggs reminder when he's wearing #4.

I don't remember watching Michigan play but what I do remember is ISIAAH LIVERS. Every time I heard about Michigan basketball, It's ISIAAH LIVERS. He was supposedly the best player on Michigan and he went 2nd round (42) while Franz went 8th pick. You don't have to be familar with the UCONN team but people have heard about JAMES BOUKNIGHT.

The Kings chose Davion Mitchell over Bouknight and they have Fox and Haliburton already. The Pelicans picked Ziaire even tho they have Zion and Ingram already. Maybe teams weren't that high on Bouknight?

He did shoot poorly against a very weak schedule.

Again, that is perfectly fine. But is YOU not seeing him or his team a reason to believe a kid widely projected as a top 10 prospect is a bad selection at #8? — not speaking to you tiderulz, just speaking to this narrative which seems to have infected many Magic fans.

yeah no, i get it. he went around the area he was mocked. And the more i look into him, i see why the front office liked him. and they obviously have much more footage and experience in identifying traits they want to see in prospects.

I look forward to seeing on the court and what his final position will be, especially if he keeps growing.

Yeah.. as someone said... of all the posts over the years, BOOING our own ROOKIE must be one of the 5 worst things you could have posted but not trading away JI because he won't give up his #1 jersey? This is top-3 I bet.

Absolutely. If you as a fan don't do your homework, shut the f*** up. Some guys were saying hmmm I don't like it and didn't even know how to say Wagner's last name. yeah in german is VAGNER, but you can say it Wagner in English,it's not
important.
Also, some guys here post like insiders and said they didn't like the pick, have thought that Franz was playing for Germany in the Olympic games and the one who was playing was his brother (who played for THIS TEAM until a month ago.)
Fans can be extremely toxic.
It is not wrong to listen to the fans but at the end of the day you hire experts to do their job.

ok boys if Suggs is 6'3-1/2 barefoot as "suspected" then that means he is 6'5 in that pic. So is RJ really 6'6?
