You know Cole is going to be there in NYC along with the rest of the party.
That's his life.

Its been real guys. I enjoyed researching Paolo. Its been a fun roller-coaster ride. It looks pretty bleak now but Im still gonna enjoy the draft.

I never understood the love for Jabari , can he even play inside ? Banchero can score inside , outside, mid range. He can pass. He can be a mismatch night mare for any team that plays that switching defense.

This is an amazing pick. People seriously need to wake up. We for once didn't draft some player we hope will be a beast. This dude IS A BEAST and ready contribute now.

I feel like that doesn't describe Paolo at all. Have you seen his playmaking? Which old school PF had playmaking and court vision like Paolo?

Webber had beautiful step back game ;). Banchero can score at 3 levels thats old school forcing things. Lets draft Smith who is post neo modern 2 level scorer.( really a 1,5 level scorer becouse his midrange game is very limited)

Webber didn't develop a step back jumper until his late 20s.

Mid-20s and younger Webber was strictly an inside player. He rarely shot the ball outside of 5 feet. He really didn't even have much in terms of post moves (though he was always an excellent passer). He was basically a mini-Shaq and just physically/athletically overwhelmed people around the basket.

I watched a bunch of Kings games in early '00 and C-Web definitively had a jumper that was money from the elbow. After suffering knee injury that robbed him of his athleticism, that jumper became his bread and butter.

Webber was 28/29 by the early 2000s with the Kings. That's when he started getting a mid range jumper.
Brian Geltzeiler: You see Mark Jackson getting a head coaching job as early as next year?

Adrian Wojnarowski: Not if people make calls on him. Not if an organization is doing their homework and knows all the things he brings with him.

Fateis007 you nailed it dude.

And it’s also like this:
We would have kept Webber if we didn’t have Shaq
Webber - Banchero
Penny - Jabari

Nice having that goto scorer/play maker isnt it? wait till he doesn't have RJ Hampton hogging the ball half the game.

He's on the OKC board because we made the wrong decision by not taking Chet.

Skin wrote:Paolo is a biscuit away from being Zion 2.0. He's more of an old school PF. He doesn't shoot well from 3 and worse, does not defend the post well. Why do you want a big man like that in today's NBA?

I would be severely disappointed if we took him, but I'm not really worried about it to be honest. He's not a WeHam type guy. Let the Kings take another Duke disappointing big man.

Sorry bro, but I am going to need you to eat a little crow on this one LMAO
