Motiz got 25 points, 9 boards and 1 assist.
Franz got 10 points, 6 boards and 5 assists. He seems ok walking to the bench on his own power but did return the game after that. They could rest him with a big lead in the end of the game.

German coach Herbert couldn't say anything on Franz after the game. He will get an MRI. He said he was just going to substitute him when this happened. Hope Franz is fine.

Franz needs to stop with the low tops or start wearing ankle braces. This ankle stuff is starting to become a problem now.

Exactly. I was worried about the ankle before I even read about the game.

He's starting to remind me of David Lee.
Better cutter, not as good rebounder.

Right, MRI results still pending. Though German Coach called it a seemingly slightly sprained ankle in the post game presser.
Wouldn't be surprised if Franz plays the next game as if nothing happened.

Definitely no tear or fracture. MRI results were sent to Germany for final analysis of damage. No World Cup ending injury, but it's unclear if Franz is able to play against Australia.

German team doctor (alomost literally) wrote: Orlando Magics athletics trainer is present and we won't take any risks. If it is reasonable, he will definitely play. Orlando is relatively relaxed about it.
