Agreed. The drafting, for the most part, has been horrendous over the past decade. PB and Franz are the exceptions. Suggs is okay, but he's not a smart basketball player given his propensity to continue to jack up 3's when they aren't falling, he's been in the league long enough to no longer make these mistakes yet he still does. Much of this falls on the coaching staff, we're last in the league in 3pt percentage but no changes have been made to create anything that resembles an actual NBA offense.

I don't mind saying it, both Jett and Black are busts, just another two players we wasted lottery picks on. Black is better than Jett but that's not saying much.

Last year's playoffs kind of screwed him up a little bit IMO. The Magic started him at center and Mobley/Allen brutalized him.

I think he felt bulking up to play more center would be his path to more minutes and potentially to even start with Franz and Paolo going nowhere as the starting forwards.

But the added weight combined with the minor hip and hamstring injuries have sapped his short area quickness compared to last year.

Looked rough early, better for a 10 stretch game, hamstring injury and now looks a step slow again

I'm gonna run with the narrative that he gained powers when Trump was reelected then it wore off

@ NY on 1/6

The next Knicks game is a scheduled loss.

Mosley did point out the free throw discrepancy in the post game interview at least. This is the second time we’ve had a huge free throw differential vs the Knicks

The next game, the Nets can leave Cam Johnson and take Cole.

He's basically just a body right now, and not even a high motor body like you can find all over the G League. I felt like him and Cole were the two guys who really needed to step up and reestablish themselves. Cole had one game and that's it. WCJ hasn't even had a good game, let alone any kind of real breakout game.
That extension was terrible to begin with and looks worse game by game

I wonder with Moe sidelined we ever try to fix our bench scoring problem...

I don't think any assessments or judgements should be made on any player until Franz and Banchero come back.

These contracts of our bench players. Man, this is tough. Weltman needs to get to work to overcome these horrendous mistakes

Problem is, these jackasses in our FO had two (2) lotto picks in the same draft. Chances to take players who would have been much readier to play/contribute, and in areas in which we had obvious need. Black was always a project and Jett was always a **** moronic selection regardless of context. Neither one of these guys should have been drafted.

To add, they committed a lot of money to Cold & WCJ and paid KCP like he was a high caliber starter, and he’s nothing more than a decent role player. “Decent” is likely overstating the case.

This org needs a major front office overhaul.

na man... Cole is broken. Jett can't even get minutes now. Gary isn't a crucial piece. Mo is out for over a year. We have plenty of expiring contracts, prospects, and picks to make a move for a guy like Cam Johnson.

That said, I reserve judgement on AB, JI, and WCJ until Franz and Paolo are back.

Our bench makes more than our starters, yeah?
