When he did get the ball he turned it over several times or he was fouled and I think we all know what happened then.
Yea he missed a lot 6-16 and considering where he shoots the ball from he was 6-13 not great for a player that shoots most of his shoots from the point blank range. Plus he had 4 turnovers.

It was a run-of-the-mill dunk. Nothing fancy, no wasted energy. They have a game tomorrow night, no need to expend much energy on a dunk.

Hedo's in a mini-slump. 7-16 isn't horrible, and he did have 6 assists with one turnover, but he's not feeling that groove at the moment. Better now than later.

Nelson pretty much won the game for us.

21 points (6/7 shooting, 3/4 from 3, 6/6 from the line), 4 rebounds, 7 assists, 0 turnovers.

At least the Magic won, but again they play down to the other teams level which I really hate. This should have been a wipeout, but instead was close.
The Heat don't have anybody left who can really play all of that great and yet they pushed the Magic until the end.
The Magic need to learn how to play at their own level not the level of the team they are playing. They can play great they didn't in this game with the Heat.

Word.

Why did Dwight deserve more touches? So he could be intentionally fouled by the Heat and the miss a pair from the line?

I'll pass. Hedo, Shard, and Meer deserved ALL of the touches tonight.

again? Sorry, I guess since they've been winning by like an average of 16 points the last 7 victories we should expect them to always blow teams out. Don't use one game as an example. This isn't the team from the last 4 years that played down to other team's levels. THIS team has been much better about playing their own level, especially as of late. They had an off night, and Miami happened to come with a lot of heart and intensity.

Any team can beat any other team on any given night. The saying is true, so people need to stop acting like the Magic should be winning by 40 points every night. Any team with heart and hustle can take even the best teams to the limit.

I did not see the game and even though the Magic were apparently sluggish, a win is a win.

Let's see them rebound tomorrow night vs. Indiana.

Only FSN games left with one of them being tomorrow.

We have almost made it guys.

does anyone think d12 was hobbled by that injury at all?

Actually I am not the only one who believes this SVG also mentioned that the team seems to play to the level of the teams that it is playing.
And considering that the Heat had only 8 healthy players this should have been a no brainer for the Magic. Instead they had to sweat a great deal to win this.
What I said and you missed it, was that they can't keep doing this or it will cause them more troubles then they need in the long run. Keeping the 3 spot in the playoffs is worth playing at the kind of level that they have shown against Boston and Detroit as of late. That team is a winner without the troubles that they had against the Heat.

Although a win is a win. Teams can't afford to become complacient(sp) against weaker teams and find themselves in a fight that was really unneccessary to fall into in the first place. That is what the Magic found themselves at in tonight's matchup vs. the Heat. They can't play like this against Indiana on Saturday night despite Indy's record. Play the game, take care of business , and earn another "W".

Jameer has been very real lately. All 3 PG's have been playing well. A nice problem to have.

SO what do you think of another JDub audtion??? He likes Orlando so much, can't you see! And don't bother about Jason's other games he'll slowly suck it up once again once he finds he has no motivation to play well.

This is what that matters. Someone different needs to show up every night. We have alot of weapons it does'nt have to be one group every night. This is why I have been thinking the Reshard haters are wrong about him, because the other players on our team know he is a consistent good shooter. When all these guy's contribute together it makes it easy on everyone. Just keep shooting it and someone will get it going, and that will break the ice for everyone.
