Shaq was hoping that the crowd would boo him & they didn't. He's on what he calls the Big Hate tour with LA on Sunday, Orlando & Miami. The Big Talker got caught up into flapping his gumbs & thought he was playing against one of these other young centers who can't bang with him. He got just as good as he gave tonight. Dwight was not to be bullied tonight. I couldn't believe that he flopped. Who the heck does he think will buy that someone knocked his big, 350 pound arse over?

That was one heck of a crazy game. I dont know what the heck we were doing throwing all these stupid crosscourt passes to no one except Phx Suns. It was madening how many stupid passes were made in this game. But we did man up on defense finally. Defense was great. Dwight was playing angry but in a good way. He was taking out his frustrations on Shaq. He even had Shaq trying to flop lmao. Lewis and Hedo made some big shots. And Lee, man the kid just makes big plays, wether is defense, making a timely pass or getting a timely rebound. The kid has great instincts. This was a very huge win for us. We really needed a big win against a good team. Despite the TO's, we finally man'ed up! We got some fight in us after all.

Back to the Shaq flop. Whatever happened to the supposed ref commitment to t'ing up the floppers? It's worse this year than ever. It drains the masculinity from the game.

I hope you can hear the Marcin interview. That's the most entertaining I've heard since AI talked about practice. Laughing at Dwight's "polite" interview. That was a classic cut when he said something to the effect that he had nothing bad to say about Shaq because he always respected "his elders."

What a rewarding game! I expected a loss, and I certainly wasn't encouraged by two fouls in the first 30 seconds. But after a while, I realized that I was seeing real Magic basketball for about the first time since Jameer went down. Rafer and his team seem to be getting to understand one another, and Dwight's teammates took offense at Shaq's big mouth. Shard broke out of his slump. And how about the Rook on Barbosa? The Brazilian Blur didn't have a step on Courtney.

Who said "Big D Lee?" I like it. That's a perfect name for our boy.

The only disappointments were when JJ got red hot and couldn't miss only to be pulled out and not return until the fourth when he had gone totally cold, and Dwight trying to outdo Sheed with his big mouth. Or maybe it's Dwight's foul mouth, because it seems he's only saying a few words before he's T'd. I suspect he's using words he didn't learn from his mamma. And Stan has a hard time calling him out on this, LOL.

anytime you hold the Suns below a 100 is a good game too... especially because they are playing like the old run and gun suns under Alvin.

I am anxious for the day when Courtney wrestles the ball out of Hedo's hands and shows what he can do in the pick and roll. With his quickness, smarts, mid-range pull up, and finishing ability, he and Dwight could be a very formidable duo.

You kno all this championship talk Shaq is blabbing compared to Dwight is crap because Shaq didnt win his first championship until he was 28. Dwight is 23 and has time.

the crowd loved the wanna be flop from shaq and grant hill missing atleast 2-3 layups..we played extremely well in the 4th quarter and lee was key on the defensive end the final 4min...hedo looked bad for the majority of the game, pietrus had several wiide open shots and missed them all and AJ, well he looked :noway:

..gortat was a beast out there and looked very good during his time, everyone pretty much played a good game, a nice win..

Game 3 last year against Detroit would be number 1 for me. But yeah, great game by Rashard.
This game was won by the defense. Havent been able to say that for awhile.. Dwight, absolute beast in the 2nd half. Still tries to force the offense way to much when there isnt anything going for him. Atleast 3 times he had a wide open guy out on the perimeter when he came across the middle for the hook.
Pietrus, please start hitting some shots big guy. You could tell he is getting very frustrated.
Gortat, played very very well.
Good to see them go to Lewis in the post more. But that is all about matchups. Suns with the small ball, the Magic had to take advantage of it, or at least try to.
Hell of a 4th qtr. Defense was awesome......
Get back at it Friday night.

After three fouls in the first half, Howard only finished with 4 fouls. This let him stay in the game for a big team 4th quarter. Had Howard been in late foul trouble, this game is probably lost.
