How good is Zbo's midrange jumper? He's gonna mess up Dwight's spacing if he is in the paint.

Do we really want another juicehead on this team? Look at Shard after he got caught

Rashard was caught during the off-season.So by the time he came off his suspension he didn't have any juice in his system. OJ Mayo probably still has some juice left in his system, b/c he was caught during the season.

Joking aside, is OJ Mayo a slasher? I swear somebody on this board said that most of his points came from outside the paint.

You might want to get your facts straight. Shard tested positive when he gave a urine sample during the playoffs. They just didn't suspend him until the off-season.

I'd do it only because I don't see us resigning J-rich and to let him walk for nothing would only put this team further into the slump. If this is the best possible trade out there I think it almost has to be done, this is if OJ Mayo is included.

Bass has played well though and is actually on a reasonable contract. I have a hard time giving him up for a chance on a player that can't cut it on a bad/average team (Mayo).

some people here don't like it but i can kinda see the value of having Z-Bo....It's all about defense and controlling the Rebounds in the Playoffs and with Randolph and Dwight Beasting on the boards and protecting the paint it would make us a REALLY tough team in a literal sense.....Two 20/10 guys on the block and you can't really double both of them plus Randolph can actually pass out of the paint well for a change....If it's for Bass and J-Rich i'll do it any day of the week...hell throw in Q and Duhon for fodder lol

I was joking around, but how does your statement debunk it. He was handed the suspension during the first week of august 09. He played his first regular season game in mid nov of that year. That's three months of him not taking dhea.

I repeat, it was a joke! Probably a bad one, but still a joke.

i haven't seen anything that actually says this whole ZBo thing is an actual rumour. it's just one journalist commenting on another journalist's trade proposal at this point.

personally, i'd welcome the move. more emphasis on a strong paint game for more efficient shots, and that in itself would open up the perimeter for our bombers.

the more I think about it, the more I would be willing to trade bass for zbo if we can unload duhon and maybe even Q. Maybe we can start working on becoming a bit more fiscally responsible and start postering for 2012 if possible.

We could then let zbo walk, and have duhon and q off the books. Then we need to figure out what to do with Hedo, and hope that otis had gil agree to decline his player options. That would get us close to being able to sign a player like deron williams.

Memphis won't do either one (yet) but just to address your scenario

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate

I would be cool with trade 1. Don't know if they would be though.
