you dont trade him for that crap, if you cant find a better offer than let him walk at the end of the season and forfeit that money

Not at all. If that is true, then let my strong dislike for him grow. I hope the Heat crush his new team...he was hoping to swap places with Lopez leaving us as a bottom feeder franchise...wow...thanks.
Dwight getting exposed for how he really is. I don't mind he wants to leave, but the sneakiness and the misdirection goes against the character he tries to portray.

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part VIII)
All of this Dwight wants to stay BS was all front office PR to raise his price. I think the majority of us knew that but still held out some hope. No matter how good a player is, it doesn't feel right rooting for them if they don't want to be there.

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part VIII)
Say whatever you want about trading him to LA and the whole Shaq ordeal.....but I would MUCH rather send him there for Bynum+Pau (who would then be parlayed into Martin+Scola+Dragic+picks) than get Lopez+Wallace+picks (which wont be very good). This is all about rebuilding the Magic to be a great team again, let egos go, let the past be the past....the FO better NOT let that sway their decision WHATSOEVER. Focus on what makes the MAGIC better, and nothing else. Not to mention, there seems to be more bad blood at the moment between us and NJ than us and LA! All LA would have at that point would be Dwight and an aging Kobe and an aging Hedo. That's not exactly unbeatable. Hell, look at what happened last yr to the Lakers with Kobe, Odom, Pau, Bynum. SWEPT.

F OTIS! He was going to trade Dwight for that trash before management stepped in. How does this clown still have a job.

Honestly...I feel like what is going on is there is CLEARLY some bad blood between Dwight and Otis at the moment, and I think Otis just wants him gone. Why the HELL can't the FO realize this and just fire his ass?....

Re: Official Speculation & Free Agency Thread (Part VIII)
The report earlier had Nets trading B. Lopez and 5 1st round picks for D12, Turk. Would you consider adding Houston who has struck out on Centers.
Overall deal looks like
Orlando out= D12/Turk/Duhon/Q
Orlando in= Petro/Williams/Flynn/ 2012 NY, 2012 Hou, 2013/2015/2017/2019 NJ 1sts 2014/2016 Hou 1st
New Jersey out= Petro/2012 Hou/13,15,17,19 NJ 1st
New Jersey in= D12/Turk/Q
Houston out= Williams/Flynn/remove 2012 1st protection/2012 NY 1st/2014, 2016 Hou 1st
Houston in= Lopez/Duhon
Picks are never sure things, but that is 8 first round picks. NJ could still lose D12, Deron to Dallas making them horrible. It does not include players for our future just lots of picks and cap flexability. We could also trade other players to stockpile more assets.

Well that's it, I was trying to be positive and believe his "not so encouraging" words, but I'm done. He's handled this situation much worse than I thought he was capable of. I sure hope he grows a thicker skin quick, bc the backlash isn't going to be pretty.

I don't give a F if he goes to the Lakers, all I care about is getting the best return for Dwight. Hornets got a full house for Paul, we gotto do the same. F Lopez and Wallace. Let us do a 3 way with Houston.
We get Bynum, Scola, Martin
Houston gets Gasol
LA gets Howard, Hedo, and maybe JJ( if necessary to get the deal done)
Get it done Otis. Let's get this BS over with

With CP3 now headed to Clippers, could LA waive C. Billups??? Magic would certainly be interested in Chauncey at $2 mill price tag.

I thought it was widely reported they're keeping Billups and plan to start him beside CP3

That's the only trade that makes sense for us. I, also, want 2 first rounders and Caracter, Ebanks, & Dragic and send away Duhon. I'd do that trade tonight.

Alex: I'm an optimist. I'd rather not because I think you guys can work it out. If you leave, then I'll get rid of them.

That was what I was saying in my earlier post.

The Wallace move would be horrible can you say 8th seed and no good picks for years. Probably getting swept by Mai or NJ. The fans can take one or two years of tanking, we need to completely reload.
