People are desperate for good news, so they try to create some. I don't see why a grin or anything would indicate anything, especially one from Carmelo Anthony of all people.

Nobody really knows what is going on. Maybe, just maybe Dwight is having 2nd thoughts on leaving and may stay. But maybe he and the Magic are using this for trade talk leverages. Nobody knows. All I know is, this situation is annoying and I can not wait until it is settled. With or without Dwight Howard, I'm ready to move on.

Nash/JRich/Jackson/Ryan/Dwight

That could be a realistic lineup post-deadline .. & much better than our current lineup

I hope Otis can pull it off 8-)

Howard, Hedo Turkoglu and Jameer Nelson would go to the Lakers, while the Magic would receive Andrew Bynum, Pau Gasol and possibly Jose Calderon.

Confirmed incorrect by Martins if that means anything, and it doesn't.

How about ...
Dwight to lakers deal w/o tor

Trade Bynum and j rich(or jj) to chic for Noah Deng
Trade Noah Ryno and pieces to okc for harden ibaka before they become to expensive
works for everyone
Nelson /harden/Deng /ibaka / Pau not too shabby

I'm so angry at the stupid articles the Orlando Sentinel has put out today. It's like they want Dwight gone.

Alternatively, we could hold off on Nash and try to spin Bynum into Deron once Dwight is a Laker.

Just heard this from very reliable souce: NJ Nets officials seriously doubt that the #Magic will trade @Dwighthoward before trade deadline.

The question is... were the Nets officials excited or disappointed that he wouldn't be headed there before the trade deadline. Then at least there'd be some indication whether he'd signing there as an FA anyway...

If Dwight has to go, you can do worse than twin-tower all-stars Gasol and Bynum.

If he wants to stay, and lets it be known, I wouldn't trade him for that package in 1000 years though.

Nash would make this offense sooo much better maybe top 5 eventually and our defense gets BETTER with this lineup..also considering the Q and J rich played with Nash he will elevate their scoring and we would be more motivated if we start blowing out teams like 09..this is a better 09 team IMO but the heat weren't a team back in 09...but still Nash is an expiring. And the heat are bad at defending the 3 ball so we will have a pretty good chance at beating them

If somehow we get lucky despite the odds and land Nash....i wonder how Van Gundy will use him? i don't think you can have Nash here and try to play him like Jameer/Duhon does...we would almost have to become more of a running team to fully utilize Nash....although a Dwight/Nash Pick and Roll sounds pretty good....

a dwight/nash PnR with anderson spacing the floor ready to knock down the open 3 would give any team nightmares. Anderson/dwight would be even more dominating than they are now. the key would be getting a defensive wing as our defense would suffer some with nash. Wonder if Phx would send us hill and would we take him back?

You start Q if u get Nash.. Our defense improves and Q is better at spotting up than Hedo...then you use Hedo as an odom type player off the bench. Q gives us toughness ala barnes
