Bynum pick and roll defense is awful, the NBA is controlled by perimeter players that is why every player who has quickness off the pick and roll destroys the Lakers. He also has no lift and both of his knees have been injured, hell he still wears a brace on his knee.

Do you do it?

Yes. Al Horford is more than a rich man's Brook Lopez. He's a poor man's Tim Duncan.

I love how everyone considers Atlanta's talent to be sooooo amazing - Josh Smith, Horford, Johnson - yet this team got out of the first round one time. Just because they're good on NBA 2k doesn't mean it translates to actually winning in the NBA.

Meanwhile, Bynum has rings on his fingers, numerous deep playoff runs of experience, an emerging game, and is only 24 years old.

and his legs are only 124 years old

I was typing too fast. In other words, Bynum appears fluid on offense but the results/numbers at the end of the day are worse than Howard.

@O_Magic11: Bynum would LOVE to come to Orlando. He's ready to be out of LA.

:o :o :o

Bynum made it known last year when rumors were going crazy about Howard to LA that he would gladly come to Orlando and sign an extension with Orlando if he indeed gets shipped there.

So no, it wasn't a joke and I do think Thompson can be a good starting Center for a Championship caliber team. Depends what else you have around him. He scores inside, rebounds and defends inside at 6'11, 250. There have been many championship teams with inferior presence at C.

Wait, we must be talking about two different guys. I meant the Jason Thompson that plays for Sacramento, the same Jason Thompson that was so good, he only started about 2/3 of the games he played last year; the 9 Points per game / 7 RPG Jason Thompson.

Which Jason Thompson did you mean?

This is my dream. :D

I don't know about the possibility of that either. Can a double S&T work in the NBA?

i dont want thompson... we have a trillion 4's... we need a wing that can create and sacto isnt giving us evans for anderson so there is nothing to talk about... btw, i'd do the lakers trade for bynum, but the only way id do it is if they are taking back 2 of the following three: turk, jrich, duhon... otherwise, no

Seriously, has everyone seen him play? He's 100% not adding wins to our team.

I have no idea, but maybe Ryan SnT for Garcia, Thompson SnT for Jrich or JJ?

The biggest problem I have with Bynum is that, when I'm at a home game and he hits his free throws, I wouldn't really know how to react. I mean, I'm so used to Dwight clanking them, what happens when your center actually makes a free throw...? Is there some special rule, or something?

When talking abut franchise big men such as Howard, Bynum, Horford, Davis etc I have no clue as to why Jason Thompson is being brought up anywhere near this thread.

 If we get rid of Richardson, free throws form our SG position will improve too.
