Yeah, on a two year deal that would have expired before Franz's extension even kicked in.

A guy who plays over 37 MPG, handling the ball basically every possession and only averaging 1.7 turnovers wouldn't be helpful at all

He has a history of being injury prone as well. So maxing out your payroll for a good/solid starter who is injury prone. Locking up flexibility for other role players that can be added in free-agency is a "great" move?

I respect Paolo and Franz's ability to make things happen 1 on 1, but a real point guard who can actually get these guys into an actual offensive set is just so desperately needed.

Everything is just an isolation with minimal to no movement against a packed lane of defenders.

Suggs is a bench player…

Plays out of control and has low overall IQ…

I’d rather Black be on the floor….

This game will be lost by coaching/rotations…

Kindly, you don't really know what you're talking about with your '"maxing out your payroll" remarks given how many contracts the Magic have that are expiring this summer.

They could have signed FVV for the exact same contract he got this past summer in lieu of signing Ingles and then had money in the summer of 2024 for more guys as Fultz, Isaac, Gary, Chuma and others come off the books.
