They're probably staying put unless they get a good deal. Be nice to get something from a Fultz/WCJ package, but I have no idea what their trade value is.

'Our big get'? No, he wouldn't be that... but watching Houstan and Okeke should let you know that upgrading the 'others' would be huge for us too.

to be fair goga, okeke and houston are 3rd string on magic they should rarely see the floor but are starting..lol
you should not have 3rd string making 5 mill or more

If Weltman’s Magic 8-Ball says…”only take a small swing”

ORL sends: Fultz, 2 srps to TOR for GTJ (expiring audition)
And…ORL sends Gary Harris, Chuma, multiple srps OR DEN 25 frp to UTA for Kelly Olynyk, Kris Dunn (both expiring)

Dunn/Cole/AB
Suggs/Trent/Jett
Franz/Ingles/Houstan
Paolo/Isaac
WCJ/Olynyk/Goga

…better, but by how much? Dunn has actually been really good and is a fierce defender, Olynyk is a heady vet with obvious shooting but also a great ball-mover like a bigger Ingles. Could be magical chemistry without actually getting too frisky with picks or cap space. It would certainly marginalize Goga (as written) but the 4/5 rotation could be all over the place as several combos could work - not to mention injuries. If Suggs shows more on-ball capability…Trent could be the starter at 2 on a new (more reasonable) deal.

Finally trade proposals that weltman would do

:-)

Trent makes sense for a few 2nd

I like Dunn too , very underated guard, he can really play D

I don't think we d go after olynik as I like our pf/ c rotation

Expecting good return for Fultz isn't realistic tho. Even if he had some value last year, it's all gone now. He is expiring money, he takes no jumpshots at all, he is pretty much next to usless without ball and is having disaster of a season ( epic 46% TS while league's average is near 56%).

I have no clue what would Wendell's trade value look like, nor i think it's smart to trade him without backup plan for starting level C position (long or short term)

People here have been mentioning guys like Conley and Chris Paul, do you know who has same measurements as them, can play decend D, can hit the 3 ball and can pass the ball (high assist/to ratio) and CAN BE OBTAIN for multiple 2rp?

Ja Morant and Steve Adams to Orlando for Mo Wagner, Franz Wagner, Harris and Fultz plus 2026/ 2028 1st rd picks, multiple 2nd round picks.

Memphis clears a ton of salary and receive a young solid star in Franz Wagner along with assets!

Orlando gets a ticket seller/ young electric star in Morant to go along with Paolo. We also can develop our young talent more with this trade for the rest of the season!

While we could also possibly position ourselves for another under the radar player in the draft!

Wendell for Herb Jones works. Jones can play SG.

I love Herb  but now we have 6 SFs and no Centers under contract...I'd send a pick and an expiring (which is probably what they want, since Herb is only available for financial reasons). Trading Wendell doesn't scare me, Centers are easy - especially when you've got $$$ and Goga is more than fine...but Herb doesn't do anything but provide excellence to our second unit. We need a starter who can handle the ball.

I'll fix...
ORL sends: WCJ, Fultz, Cole Anthony, Gary Harris, DEN 25 frp
NOLA sends: CJ McCollum, Herb Jones

NOLA saves a LOT of future $$, adds a solid versatile young big that can still function out of Zion's flight path as well as inside-on a great deal. Cole could maybe replace a chunk of what CJ brought in a younger, much cheaper package and shift the scoring emphasis back to their young forwards, they've got lots of young defensive-minded guards and wings even without Jones. Not even sure the frp is needed, given the young talent and cap relief provided.

ORL: CJ is a great fit. A true high-powered Lead Guard and Captain...I wish he were younger and cheaper-but he's still formidable and he's got 2 more years-right when the extensions kick in for our young guns.

CJ/Black
Suggs/Jones/Jett
Franz/Ingles/Houstan
Paolo/Isaac
Goga/M. Wagner

I love this trade.
Lets say its CJ is a 50 cent piece and Herb is a quarter. That is 75 cents.
Cole and WCJ are quarters, Harris and Fultz are dimes. That is 70 cents.
Den '25 1st and lots of cap relief balances it out.

Edit: Looking at Fanspo and Cole has a poison pill and is hard to include.

a lot to give? Capella, while expensive, is still more than serviceable. This trade would be a hell of a deal for us. I don't see Atlanta even considering it.

We take on contracts, and lose 3 picks and Houstan.
It s a lot but as I said, it s a fair deal

I d rather keep goga and pass on capella but we can't have everything we want:-)

You can say no to everything that isn't grand theft and just play the same squad :banghead:

They might have contracts but they're not negative values...that's a good thing. Griffin is NOT just filler either.

I didn't say no to this lol

I like griffin and Paolo likes him too

A back up C making over 20M isn't ideal but could be a nice trade chip this summer or next Feb
