Because it's like throwing a match in dry field. People will start endlessly bashing him thus making this forum completely unbearable for those who actually want to discuss the Magic in a semi-intellectual manner.

Look, This is a great trade. But I really think if JJ is involved in a year or 2 he will be one of those players that we want back on our team.

I am telling you, JJ has too many tools to not be a good player in the NBA. But even with that said, I'd do the deal..

Hopefully JJ isn't involved and maybe we put in Auggie and cash instead?

Is Garcia capable of backup Point minutes?

We could run the team like this

First team

Nelson
Garcia
Lewis
Miller
Dwight

Second team

Garcia/Dooling
JJ
Evans
Hedo
Dwight

Fourth quarter team will depend on matchups...

Nelson/Dooling
Hedo/Evans/Garcia/JJ
Lewis
Miller
Dwight

Don't forget we have the all mighty Cook to stick into the rotation.
at the end of the trade, either way JJ is screwed out of PT..
This trade could mess up the roster pretty heavily and a second trade may have to be done to keep chemistry.. A couple players will lose PT and that could start trouble.
Sacto has a good amount of guards and no space really to play them all. So, once again JJ is out of a spot..

I think Otis in the end with the tax problems and his "love" for JJ ends up going with the Kurt Thomas trade... I actually maybe be the lesser value of either trades..BUT it clears up this teams rotation.

Lewis/Cook
Dwight/Thomas/Foyle

I honestly hope Otis can do something with those expirings...they're like gold at the min and not fool's gold!

I really expect us to make a play at some serious help in the big man and 2 guard slots....If not, I am gonna be hella disappointed

I dont exactly remember, but back when the Ariza/Evans-Cook trade went down, it came out of nowhere. I dont even think that Denton knew about it until it actually happend.
