Thanks everyone for the comments on Ish. Sounds promising.

JRich had 12 more minutes than Von and had just 8 points less, he also had 2 more free throws... tell me he doesn't deserve to be in there in the final minutes... sorry i'm being annoying about Wafer getting minutes over JRich, but, it's something that I think that can improve the team, and, I don't think Stan's ever gonna make that happen because JRich has a bigger name than Von.

We need another month of solid Wafer action before the FO can sit down and figure out whether we can survive by moving JJ or J-Rich.

I think we've seen enough of Wafer to see he can be a consistent threat on offense. move JRich in March and we'll be fine.

Yeahhhh, a little awkward.

Someone needs to help him practice being interviewed. Kind of makes it seem like the interviewer isn't there.

I love how once he started doing it they zoomed in on his face to make it seem less awkward that the interviewer was there, but it really compounded the issue.

Missed the game, nice to see we got a win though.

Things that stand out to me in the box score-

Five double digit scorers, that's nice.

Four assists in 9 minutes by Ish with no turnovers, that looks good. Five fouls doesn't, but I want to see him play even if it is a pretty minor move.

What happened to Redick?

Too much scoring from the Cavs in the 4th quarter.

8 blocks from Dwight to go along with his usually high rebound number, along with 50%+ free throw shooting (I'll take it) and limited turnovers with a few more assists. I like it, good deal.

Looks like Wafer has earned playing time.

I like what i saw of ish tonight. If he could have stayed out of foul trouble he could have done much better. I like his speed and his passing, something i havent seen on magic in a while.

For Ish, look at page 23, a lot of people have the answer for you. as for the rest of the team, they played well, they moved the ball and they made open shots. the defense just wasn't there, Dwight played well defensively though. Clark and Wafer provided a spark from the bench, and, Wafer had some great moments in the 4th, a great dunk and some free throws. Hedo hit some clutch shots tonight too.

He's fast and jumps pretty high.

four assists in 9 minutes. Played fast and aggressive.. has to be careful with his defense.. 5 fouls in 9 minutes is a little rough

There is a difference though, when Ish was on the ball he was the primary ball handler, when Duhon was on the floor, Hedo was the primary facilitator.

Not rooting for Duhon mind you, but that stat line is a bit deceiving.

Yeah, but when does Duhon ever get 4ast in 9 minutes without a turnover?

Edit: because he's not always in the game when Hedo is, like that stupid all bench lineup SVG does, Duhon is the primary ballhandler there and he's a turnover machine.

Duhon has been on the floor plenty of times this year when Hedo was on the bench when Jameer was playing..

Just watched the 2nd half... Ish Smith is the man... Duhon is crap but made some plays, but you could tell he was feeling the pressure from Ish (took some ridiculous chucked shots and forced stuff)... Earl Clark is money in transition... Von looked good... so did J-Rich... our rotation D picked up but broke down near the end... Howard and Ryan were good, and Hedo stepped up

Good win

More Ish, less Duhan... I can't wait until Nelson returns, so we'll never see Duhon again (hopefully)

Why do I get the feeling when Nelson comes back, Duhon will still get way more minutes than Ish.

JRich should play the Kyle Korver role off the bench. where he can come in and hit some backbreaking 3's at important times in the game. I see him excelling in that kind of role. but Wafer needs to be there at the end of games imo. along with Turk, Anderson, and, Dwight.

Because Stan's "loyalty" is more important than him doing his job and getting the better players on the floor. btw, not saying loyalty is wrong, but, he needs to play whoever can win some games for us.
