Agreed, but is that enough to entice Milwaukee, or does Ryan need to be in there instead?

I have to think Ryan has higher trade value than JJ at this point (and both, higher than JRich). It wouldn't surprise me if we swap out JJ and Ryan in that scenario.

Either way I'd prefer to keep one of the two on the team, but not at all sure that's reasonable. I could see a scenario where Nelson is moved in this deal as well, which might put JJ and Monta on the floor - I think that would work fine for us as well.

Because moving SJax for someone they want, without having to pay him ~not~ to play, is more appealing to Milwaukee and helps move the trade along.

Re-strapping in for the 30th time today! :o

I think the majority of us is so strapped in that we are looking like the Gimp from Pulp Fiction!

I get to work form home listening to calls all day as a Quality engineer. So my eyes and my hands are free for most of the day...

I have a 3 computer/ 4 monitor set up here that my nephews dubbed "The command center" when they saw it!

So I know I've been spending an average of 8 hours a day; probably closer to 12 reading through these threads; and I still can't keep up! I had to skip the last 40 pages of the previous thread; so I know some of you probably need a break soon! Here's hoping the trade comes before Thursday; and we can all go out (with our at this point pasty skinned selves)and go have a celebratory drink!

According to reports Martins is the one that is really calling the shots right now. Which I like and I think means Otis is likely outta here this summer.

Does Milwaukee even want Ryan though? They have a player very much like him (only better) in Ilyasova, and it seems they would benefit a lot more from a legit SG like Redick to go next to Jennings. I doubt they would seek to duplicate talent (much like they weren't interested in Monta with Jennings there) unless they were sure that Ilyasova was on the move.

I've come to view things like we're trading Ryan/JJ for Dwight. If you look at it that way, then it doesn't seem so bad. But again, all these trade proposals, better all be contingent on guarantees from Dwight (hell I'm okay with just getting him to opt-in...)

Yeah, of course I've heard about Martins' involvement. Anyways I'm still trembling from uncertainty. Just please don't let us end with Meer/Ellis backcourt AND Big Bay as a starter

I also work from home a lot of the time, so today isn't looking like it's gonna be overly productive :)

I'm guessing that this is going to go down to the wire, for a few reasons:
- The Magic are trying desperately to get a commitment from Dwight
- If they can't get a commitment to Dwight, they need to make a call on trading him or risking losing him after the season
- Milwaukee is waiting to see what offers roll in for Bogut, or if the even want to deal him
- New Orleans is trying to move Kaman, but they basically are the third option when it comes for trading for a Center at this point
- Golden State is still holding out hope they can deal FOR Dwight, not dealing something to the Magic that lets us KEEP Dwight.

So basically, everyone is waiting to see what everyone else will do. After the first trade happens, the dominoes start to roll.

ESPN just reporting that Dwight has "new power" and can decide the fate of Otis or Stan if he signs an extension. This is brand new stuff, since earlier it was said Otis would be our GM no matter what.

Stephen A Smith keeps making his pitch on how Dwight needs to leave and he cant stay in Orlando..blah blah...just sounds like him (along with every other ESPN prick) wants him out of there.

He was so wrong.

He also said that Dwight's original list included the Knicks and the Clips, which it didn't.

Of course he'll throw his Knicks into the mix.

Or shifting him to the three, or collecting the best trade chip they can in Ryno. Totally speculation on my part there.

These threads are crazy .. I went to sleep yesterday round 1am here, it's 3pm now & I had to read through 70 pages

Wasn't a good idea to read them while waiting for the train though. When I saw the "Magic/Bucks/Warriors discussing trade around Bogut/Ellis" I literally yelled "Yeah! That's what I'm talkin about" .. Old lady next to me: "Are you ok?", I was like "Got a minute? I'll tell you" & she walked away probably thinking "I'm old, not stupid?"

Ah well, I'm fully strapped in for another night of dreaming, hoping, crying & praying 8-)
