I mean at some point he was going to have to face the music. Does it continue to grow, who knows? And this isn't an indictment against Mosley, because I really like him.

Did he have an answer, or just “we just gotta keep taking shots when we get good looks and eventually they’ll go in”?

He said it’s something they are going to have to look at and make sure the guys are taking the right shots. Also they know the are going to be seeing more zone defense

Looking at the numbers how many of these young guys can possibly have any confidence shooting from outside? I'll keep saying it until I'm run off this forum, we're making a mistake allowing our team to play this way. I agree it's not all on Mose, but in the end I'm sure he has final say over lineups and who sits or plays. You can't just sit back and watch a team shoot this way and continue to allow 30+ 3pt attempts per game.

There are no teams shooting less than 30 attempts a game this year. Your gripe is with the NBA.

I don’t know how you would go about addressing the shooting short of a trade, because the mental pressure for guys to make a shot must already be at an all-time high.

Me? I’d have KCP, Houstan, Queen, Wendell, Cole and TDS stay in the gym shooting 3’s until they make 1000 each. It would probably be pointless but if they’re gonna suck they’re gonna have to face consequences.

I mean there's levels to this, there's being a bad three point shooting team and then there's us. We're almost like three full percentage points behind the worse team....

Poor Paolo, comes back from injury and the team proceeds have some of their most demoralizing arse whippings of the year.

It's an indictment against Mose if he doesn't have a shooting coach. If he does, that guys needs to be held accountable. I have had issues with our offense and still think that Mose needs to hire a lead assistant coach that modernizes our offense BUT our players are missing WIDE OPEN THREES. Those should be muscle memory makes.

We also have a personnel problem because other teams have guys that make tough, contested, off-the-dribble 3's that our guys can only dream of making. Obviously, that's an indictment against the FO.

Is it because 4 of our best or better 3pt shooters are out? 5 if you count that street clothes guy

Difficult to watch basketball as an Orlando fan...BUT, Celtics played well and hard, which was to be expected after their loss to the Raptors. The talent disparity, especially with all Orlando's injuries, is a difficult one to overcome. They did a really good job of locating the mismatches and exploiting them...and it helped that Orlando's effort defensively just wasn't up to their standard...likely just a mid season slump as I've seen this a few games now.

One thing I love, and it's been discussed previously in these threads, is Paolo's poise. Hes starting to look like he has all the time in the world, and is never rushed. It's reminiscent of other superstars like SGA and Doncic - hopefully he's on the same type of trajectory.

I know Paolo is just getting his legs back under him after missing all that time, but the offence looks a lot different with Paolo out there without Franz, and vice versa. There are a few offensive sets that I really like that we just haven't ran with Franz out...particularly sets that gets our players catching on the move. The offence now is very motion based...reminds me of a college team. I think one positive to take away from this stretch is just how well our two stars play off of one another when healthy. Again, I might be jumping the gun as Paolo has just returned, but I think the offence is more fluid with Franz running things than Paolo - maybe its recency bias due to the losses, or it's just because the ball is in the hands of Franz, (someone who can create for other) rather than Anthony or TQ.

Before we get upset (and I agree, the lack of shooting MUST be addressed - I understand everyones frustrations), we have been without our best players for the majority of the season and faired ok. No team will want to see Orlando in the first round with everyone healthy. Once in the playoffs, everyone starts 0-0, and I think the top 3 in the East are fairly similar in terms of talent, so standings won't be as important as previous years.

Injuries affect everything. The guys out and then guys playing still have issues too. TDS and Cory Jo are/were sick, KCP hobbling, PB working himself back in from months off. Missing 60-80 points CONSTANTLY and expecting 8th-15th men to start hitting shots with more attention on them is tough.

That being said, we've hung around with healthy teams and have a similar record. At least we have an identifiable weakness to point to for trades lol

I mean, how could someone not see it coming? Franz had a healthy team minus Paolo. Paolo is playing on a minutes restriction and with the c-team.

Not good, I'm sure our lack of shooting is well known in the locker rooms, but once it becomes publicized now the baton has been handed to the front office. You're it Weltman, and it's about time lazy bum.
