Im telling you the refs made up their minds when Dwight got that tech, then made sure of it when Dwight got that **** with the elbow. Putridly called uneven game.
Bad officiating is turning the NBA into a big joke. Things are not what the used to be when I started watching the NBA in the early 90's. Back then officiating was a lot better and it made the game more enjoyable.

But remember this: the Magic had a giant lead, and let it dwindle away in the 4th. They shouldn't even have been in the position of having to win at the end. Now, should Hedo have gotten a call at the end? Yeah, probably. Should he even have to be in that position though? No, absolutely not.
The refs weren't the cause for the loss. The Magic blowing a big lead are the cause for the loss.
While thats true, the refs made it easier for NJ to come back by allowing them to play as tight as they did the last five minutes of the game. They were all over the Magic players every time down and the only guy to get a call was Vince Carter. Your right though. Nobodys gonna tell you that your wrong. They shoulda found a way.

Jameer didnt get calls in the first half but he was mostly putrid tonight specially that 4th quarter.
The Magic was -12 on the night with Nelson on the floor. That speaks loudly to the offensive woes under his watch tonight.
Mark Jackson on the Nets broadcast also spoke on how Nelson looking for his shot leads to a lot of standing around on offense by the other guys.

Blame it on your teams poor excuse for defense. The Nets took this victory, plain and simple. They just wanted it more
No we're playing the refs for the last 2 plays, call it both ways. We couldn't stop Darrell which was just crazy but yeah..

it was that bad huh? no surprise it seems that we are never the beneficiary of bad calls especially when it matters most
yea we dominated them until the 4th...then everything fell apart..no ball movement, people standing around, bad calls..no energy in the 4th..it looked like the magic players already won the game and wanted to go home

Why not get the ball into Arroyo's hands and let him drive on Kidd, who couldn't stop his penetration all game? If the D collapses, you space the floor and get an open jumper from any of Lewis/Hedo/Bogans or a drop off for a Howard dunk. If the D stays home, Arroyo beating Kidd was a given. That's a better play than Hedo forcing when you know the hack won't be called.
Eh, because Kidd was guarding Hedo???

The idea was more for Hedo to shoot over Kidd like he had done previously, but Hedo drove instead. A jump shot may have been the better decision there because you get a clean shot off and an opportunity at the rebound.
Oh well though. We play them 2 more times. We'll have opportunity for payback.

Yeah but 2 back to back missed calls? If any of you have the game Tivo's, check out the first shot Hedo missed at the end. Jefferson leaned in with the hip and pushed Hedo backward on the shot. That's what Van Gundy was pointing out to the refs. That was actually more obvious than the no-call at the end.

Exactly. Unless you are a superstar like Kobe or Lebron, you aren't getting that call. Vince ("superstar") did. Hedo could lose an arm and they weren't calling that.
Well that is exactly why NBA refs are pathetic. In no other sport is there such disparity in how things are called from player to player.

By your posts you are either mentally slow or you didn't watch the game so I could really care less what you think.

Which is exactly whats wrong with the NBA. A foul is a foul is a foul...it shouldnt matter who's taking the fukin shot. Again, as a fan all we ask for is consistency...either call it the same at both end or swallow the whistle on the Carter drive as well. Its complete BS.
