I don't get whats the problem of criticizing your team. Sorry for having high hopes, obviously SVG doesnt have high hopes .. not like he wants 55 wins, or to catch Detroit or anything. I'll just enjoy the ride even though we brick wide open shots and don't put hands up on D.

i could care less about beating boston because we will never play them in the playoffs this year. we match a lot better with them but we have to go through detroit first.

I think we lost this game cause of bad coaching. I thought that SVG coached one of his worst games. The substitutions were bad, takes players out early and sits them for a long time, doesn't take out players who should've been taken out, doesn't insert players who should be inserted, doesn't tell his players to go through Dwight. But his sub pattern was horrible tonight, We were up by like 5 or 7 and coach subbed Shard, 12 etc and puts in 4 scrubs + Hedo, hawks go on a 10+ to 0 run. This happened twice. Sure the players were lacking the focus and started out bad, but coach really didn't do well after that IMO.

And if you look at Jameer opponent pgs...What other non-all-star players has made Jameer look bad? Only Jason Williams who was doing nothing but chucking up 30 foot three's. Other PG's including Bibby are pg's that do this nightly. And we did do a pretty damn good job on Bibby most of the game. He only shot 7-21 from the filed.

maybe SVG wants to actually rest our players. keep hedo, rashard, and dwight from playing 40mpg to around 36.

In an underwhelming rookie class it is. Mike Miller won it in 2000 averging far worse overall numbers than Horford is.

He did an admirable job on Dwight tonight (poked the ball away several times) and had some clutch rebounds down the stretch. He's a big reason why the Hawks won the game.

Word.

When you play good you get compliments when you suck you are criticized.
That's just the way it goes.

What you want fans to go ''We are so lucky to have Keith tonight, he was playing like the GOAT and missed almost all his shots. We won cause of him'' ? Sorry for stating the obvious, Bogans played beyond horrible tonight.

lol @ Stan. I love it.

When asked about them coming back from 14 down early, he says: "So what. We lost. I'm not gonna pat them on the back for losing. To a sub-.500 team."

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

Mellow out man. Just because people want better players on their team doesn't not make them Magic fans. I can hate Garrity and still like Orlando, I have been doing it for years.

And Al Horford is the best rookie in that class. Durant just getting more chances by being the only good player on the team and having the ball. He's throwing up 20 shots a game and he makes like 9 of them. Overrated.

It's not going down.

We would actually have to play some defense that game.

I look for Dwight to have a big game against SAS. He's not going to keep scoring this poorly and he's finally figured out Duncan and the Spurs defense after he used to get punked by TD his first two years in the league.

Tough loss but the Magic were outplayed.

I did love coach Van Gundy's rant especially the line about losing to a sub-.500 team.

Atlanta is a better team then their record though and would be a difficult first round matchup for this team.

My personal opinion on the issue....

I complain a lot because I simply don't think it's a winning attitude to just sit back and shrug everything off. You get content in this league, you lose. You have to be trying to get better at all times. It's a no excuses game. You can get content and makes excuses if you lose at your local rec center. Not in professional sports.

Even in wins, you can't just forget everything because you won. This team has some horrible habits, despite their good record. Habits are formed in games, win or lose. Those bad habits creep up at any time, and you lose.
