"WE WERE AWFUL, HOW MANY TIMES DO I HAVE TO SAY IT? AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL WE SUCKED ON OFFENSIVE, DEFENSIVE, SPECIAL TEAMS AWFUL I TELL YOU!!!"
Dwight Howard on his FT struggles:

"I just think everybody needs to stop talking about it," Howard said. "There's more to life than free throws."

We'll get this turned around.

Right now, the team's just like "yay, we got the 3rd seed! Now what? Oh, we have to wait for the season to end. Weak."

The mini-celebration will end, and the team will realize that even though these games are meaningless in the standings, they have to play hard to keep sharp for when the playoffs start. The intensity will come back, eventually. When? Don't know. But eventually.

Well, that was pretty sad. I guess I'll watch some people who play like they care. Candace Parker et. al. vs. Sylvia Fowles and company.

I'll do my best to remember it all and recreate it.

"Worst game of the season, by far. No energy, no effort. Everybody out there either couldn't do it or wouldn't do it."

On rebounding: "We just don't focus on rebounding. When we do, we're fine, but right now we just won't. Another game at halftime where Dwight has 1 defensive rebound. We can't win if he's not defensive rebounding. We need everybody to defensive rebound, but he HAS to defensive rebound for us to win."

Various questions about the game: "You guys keep asking me questions, wanting me to analyze the game, but what can I say? We were awful."

Repeats that they were awful many times.

"I did a bad job too of not getting some guys out of the game. I should have gone to some other people to see if they could get it done."

Repeats that they were awful a few more times.

Asked about forgetting the game and moving on to Chicago: "Whatever."

End.
11/18/2017 - I have officially disowned Nikola Vucevic and branded him a loser.

- Skal Labissiere was my guy in 2016 pre-trade. Whoops, but I still believe.
- Malik Monk was my guy in 2017. Whoops(?)
- Mo Bamba was my guy in 2018. TBD.

maybe this loss and SVG can wake this team up. The whole lets rest and coast to the playoffs is (Please Use More Appropriate Word). maybe if we were the pistons or boston i would suggest it but we haven't done anything in the playoffs. We still have plenty of things to sort out.

At least Stan delivered in the press conference.

That's the second most pissed he's been all year.

Too bad Rick Smitz doesn't play anymore. That would be fun. Every time he scored, you could play the chorus to that song.

Diener went for 18pts/5ast/5reb today, for those who care.

He came to play, unlike a certain EVERYBODY (The Magics).

Gortat, James and JJ could of at least played like they cared 5 games left SVG needs to dust them off.

Bogans 1-5, Pat 2-8, Lewis 2-12, 9-36 from three. That is way to many 3s to shoot, we need another banger down low who can get rebounds and someone to drive the ball and not settle on the 3s. Bring Bo back he will atleast try to rebound.

Dwight has been making me mad, with missing free throws and Matty nailed it on the head, hes bending his knees then going straight up and standing, not a solid motion and getting a flat shot. /end rant

Fixed.

Seriously though, sir Travis would beat the Celtics on his own if he could somehow by the grace of himself get that 8th seed.

Friends of mine say that Howard before the game shoots a lot of free throws and he almost never misses, then when the game begins Howard goes the opposite way not all of the time, but way too often.
Too much laughing and fooling around with his friends.
Someone needs to tell him it's alright to have friends on opposing teams, but when it comes time to play them he needs to act like they are the enemy and go for the throat. After the game he can relax, but not during.

Lewis just forgot to bring his .........................to the game he down right stunk up the place.
Bogans wasn't much better, well Bogans is on a roll this wasn't the first game where he couldn't hit the broadside of a barn.
The team as a whole shot something like 55% from the free throw line, most of that is because of Howard. 25% from beyond the three point line.

Rants over.
One more thing they beat Cleveland, but they can't beat NY Knicks give me a f...........ing break.
I needed to say that.
