I gotta say I haven't watched much Mavs since the Luka trade but Klay looks omega washed.

Not because im biased and want Coby white on this team, but watching Bulls you can tell their future is in the duo of Matas and Gidey. Coby did not have a good game and showed his limitations when the ball isn't dropping. Bull fans already calling to sell high on him.

I think Weltman should and will re engage with Chicago before the draft to see what a deal for Coby would look like.

Not sure two non lottery 1st picks nets a starting PG. Bulls aren’t desperate to move him.

Not desperate but they are on the clock. Coby entering his last year and will want a payday prob double his current contract. Bulls are already going to have to pay Gidey big money this summer. Commiting almost $60mil for backcourt of Gidey and Coby to just keep losing in the play in is recipe for NBA purgatory. I think they know this and will try to extract value from Coby white this offseason when its the highest. STill don't think he is worth two FRP but good young player with future like Tristan + filler and our mid FRP should be enticing.

EASY pass if they think they're going to get that for Coby.

MasterGMer wrote:Houston is leading the odd of landing KD in the summer. Can Orlando Magic make a run at him? He could be a perfect piece along side Paolo and Franz. But heck, it is going to be costly and expensive to even entertain the idea. We will see and Jeff Weltman is not kinda guy to make a blockbuster trade like that to go away from Organic rebuild anyway

What is your vision of KD on this team?
For me makes no sense. He plays same position as our stars. He is another iso heavy player taking the rhythm out of the other players. He is a great 3point shooter but doesnt take many. He takes a lot of shots at the same spaces like Paolo. I'm not even talking about the money and his age.
He is just not a good fit. Cole having a rare typical fringe all star guard game shows again what this team really needs.

Dears: Here, let's all go to "Abstinence mode" for the next 4+3 games; or more.

My focus now is only on supporting this current roster to win. 2025/26 is not where my heart lies now. Today: It lies on "How on Earth can Orlando beat Boston".
Future trade for "better-guard-X" does not win the Magic games in the Boston playoff series for 2024/25. I am pretty sure that is a correct statement.

He redeemed himself from the 0-13 performance last season with the Warriors in the play-in game in Sacramento. That's also his hometown.

You're right. He lives 50-60 miles from Sacramento.

What if

Cole plays great in the playoffs
WCJ plays great in the playoffs
AB plays great in the playoffs

We lose 3-4 to the Celtics.

We run it back? !? !!

Not to be too negative - but that's a fear of mine...extensions for everybody, organic growth is happening :banghead:

Do we block AB is a real question for me. I want an upgrade this offseason but that effectively blocks AB. I don’t think he is a bench player.

He's still good and will continue to be an elite threat as long as he is able to walk.

Return to Orlando Magic
