that was his best coaching of the series
I wonder if they would consider the other Van Gundy (Stan) if things fall through with Brooks. I mean he could teach them how to play D which would fix half their problems. The other half in terms of running plays I think he could help with too being he loves the pick n roll.
Kind of rude if you ask me. He has every right to post those tweets. I post a lot of stuff from Evan Dunlap from OPP. That doest mean I'm Evan

I do think Shaw's championship experience gives him the edge. Gonna be interesting to see how it plays out after the interviews.

I don't want ANY lingering pieces from last year. Brendan included (even though he's a good coach).

Why? Our staff was tops in the league; just a head coach who couldn't keep his mouth shut or develop young talent and continuously played players that couldn't get it done.

They actually made me fall in love with him to! Thanks for sharing that! I had real question marks about him, but he seems like a great candidate to fill our post.

The deal : D12 alienated ownership by staying in LA. This was not needed, he left the team in the playoffs. This is why they dont call him..
@MagicalNBA
That being said, they want D12 back if he buys in and becomes a leader. He has no respect currently in the magic org. He can change that
@MagicalNBA
Rob could meet w/ dwight and decide HE does not want D12 on this team, not vice versa.
@MagicalNBA
If D12 buys in, the Magic could build a team that contends with heat in 1-2 years. D12 is the guy who makes LBJ and Wade shoot Jumpers.
@MagicalNBA
The Magic could become the most athletic team in the NBA w/in 2 years if Dwight stays. No one can run w/ him at C.
From our favorite Magical. I know we usually don't post his stuff here but he has been right on multiple occasions and at the very least, gives us some rumors to talk about. He called the Otis Smith "re-signing" and called that we were going to go hard at Monta Ellis at last years deadline.
you seem to post his stuff here alot if im not mistaken so im gonna assume your magical and will ask for you to stop with the posting of your fake news and rumors here

I'm aware of that, but you don't have any proof that he's really magical. Well IF I'm Evan Dunlap, then I'm spamming also. It doesn't matter how legitimate you find the source. Personally, I don't think he's posting that many magical tweets. Plus, it's not like he created whole new thread just for those tweets.

He has had his moments, like Ping.
In regards to the D12 situation, every time Alex speaks on it, I get the vibe that he's not very fond of Dwight, and he has reason to not be. D12 didn't approach any part of last season as professionally as he could have. I wouldn't doubt that after the incident with Stan that D12 let his emotions let loose and govern his actions toward the team. D12 still has a lot to learn about being a leader and he's capable of taking those steps, like Lebron did. But throwing some teammates under the bus and talking in the media about wanting to play here and there were things he could have done without.
I think both sides, ownership/management and Dwight, could and should have done things differently. D12 isn't to blame for the turmoil that occurred all last season. While his reactions at times were rash, his premises were just. The roster sucked and Otis was incapable of putting "dogs" around Dwight, ownership took their time to recognize that, and Stan had to go public. I had similar gripes as Dwight and ownership/management just weren't coming through.
Bringing a guy like Henny (the new nickname must stick btw) in, who comes from teams with leaders like Duncan and Durant, I think he wants his best player to exude exceptional leadership qualities. I think in his meet with Dwight he'll get a sense of if Dwight possesses those or if not and it'll be taken into consideration. In addition, I think Henny can help Dwight become that leader too. As a guy who has been preaching player development, I think it's an aspect of Dwight's game that could improve, and as a guy very conscious of his image, I think Henny can sell Dwight on rebuilding it in ORL as opposed to anywhere else.
But at the same time, I think I can sort of understand Alex and the DeVos's when they make their hard stance when they say extend or get dealt so quickly. It sounds like there's a lot of bad blood between the sides and neither side at this point would lose sleep over both parting ways.
