Sure, and it's an extremely normal trend for a young team and a team with their best player hurt.

Pacers beat good teams and struggle against bad teams.. that's also a bad trend and they're in a terrible situation rn.

How are you going to provide rim pressure when the guy you're guarding is one of the best shooting bigs/players in the league and is parked at the 3 point line 70-80 percent of the game?

People don't watch the game, unfortunately.

We get it. You love Wendell Carter.

Congratulations

I wonder how Kessler did so well defending the rim in their game against the Knicks when he was guarding the same player, lmao. Such lame ass excuses

KCP has been shook by Brunson too many times tonight. He’s on skates.

Definitely not the same team without Goga. Wendell just doesn't give us much.

??

It's not a new problem because we've been an ass team for 10 years brother  - we're also the #2-3 youngest team in the league last year. Of course we will be deficient in one area.. or else we'd be the best team in the league while also being the youngest.

We've also never been able to beat the "bad teams" - which we do now.

We were 19-28 against .500 or better teams last year, Knicks and Cavs 21-28 and 21-27 with way more veteran players.

Not worried until we're back one of our best players and we start to become a veteran team (like the Knicks) and losing to similar/better teams.

I didn't say anything but pointed out that "hot take" from potential hot takes isn't that hot of a take

Btw Cavs last year almost never healthy starting 5.
It's nba. Most people nowdays complain about product for this specific reason, too many random injuries and teams that never play in full strength.

So our minimal goal today was not to lose by more than 30 pts and we are about to fail it, amazing, really...

I'm sorry I don't want WCJr at center once we're healthy. That timeline has ran its course.

Sure, but my point more is that if we beat really good teams often, and also bad teams.. we would be a top 3 team in the league

If we beat good teams and were "meh" against bad teams we should beat, people would have an issue with that as well.. so there's just always a thing to be a talking point, yanno?

Yes, I would like them to do better against better teams.. but I also know it's where we are in our timeline.
