And they have assets to make a move if they want to.

Remains to be seen what they decide to do there.

Cole + Gary + Jett + picks for somebody making 25M and then bringing Queen onto a standard contract seems like a solid plan.

Why disrupt during the season at this point?

I’m good adding a depth big and making room for TQ. We already have two giants on their way back.

Give TQ a long term contract

Trade Cole + 3 SRP for DFS

Job done
Suggs, AB,Cojo
simons,KCP, Brea /Lanier
Franz,O'Neil,TDS,Houstan
P5,JI, O'Neil,Houstan
WCJ,moe,Raynaud

Draft Raynaud #16 and Koby Brea or Lanier #46

goga for Royce O'Neil
Cole+jett +#25 #57 + future SRP for simons

Why not? A potential Alpha scorer next to Paolo and Franz plus leading the 2nd unit. May not be too bad?

He was a team worst with -22. No rebounds, steals or blocks. 10 points and 0-3. I don’t think he is a player who fits or adds to winning.

Some people just look at PPG with athletic ability on a bottom feeder while thinking that equals a winner on a winning team.

No, it really is not. Simons has the ability to score and it is known to many. He can shoot and he can make shots himself.

Whether we get him or not is our FO's decision. But he is interesting to me. Plus he is only 25 years old. He fits with our young core plus he is an Orlando Native. Which means he could stay here long term if we get him.

But again. I know nothing about analytics to tell me if he fits the mold or not. But at least, he is interesting to me

He’s definitely not ideal but can score more consistently than most off the bench. The problem is that he’s viewed as a starter when he’s really a bench scorer.
Anyway, this isn’t the thread to discuss trades. This was one hell of a win!

“It’s great to play against a team like this that’s able to have this kind of intensity, this kind of physicality in a regular season game. Hats off to them. Hats off to Mosley, their coach, who’s getting their minds like this, and their culture like this for these regular season games. It’s really a great job he’s doing over there. That’s not easy to do.” - Porzingis

Man.... Just envisioning.... When healthy....

Sugg and KCP in the starting lineup....

Black and Queen off the bench....

Opposing guards will never catch a break and will have issues getting their offense going. This team through adversity just impress us more and more. Let's go Magic!!

In super slow motion this looks like two painfully obvious carries, but in fast motion neither one of them ever gets called.

Don’t care what anyone tells me about that move, the lift of the pivot foot before the other leaves the ground makes it a travel in my eyes too. Still, this plus the carries (and moving screens) are why scoring is up in this era.

Naw, the step through is definitely clean. However, the carries are clear as day in slow motion but not so apparent in real time making them hard to call.

I'm all aboard the TQ train. Out of the Jett, Cole, CoJo, and TQ platoon I think TQ is my favorite.

He played well last season in his stint when Franz was out, great defense but didn't bring much offensively apart from the occasional 3.

This season he has clearly worked on his offensive game, and he is a bonifide rotational player. He will take Gary Harris' mins going forward. He epitomizes the skills and culture that Mosely & the FO is crafting on the Magic. I hope to see him play for our team for many years to come

If you remember that epic win in Denver last year, Queen was huge in that one.

Queen has an interesting story too. At one point he was living in a 2 room retirement home unit with 15 other people. Eventually got kicked out of there and had to live in a car with 3 other teammates from the community college he played for.

I only saw 4th quarter but that was most entertaining game of a season for me. And biggest W, given injuries.

Huge 3 by Tristan at the end, that mid range from Wendell got me "wtf are you doing...oh never mind"

time to enjoy Christmas with family.

Not sure if you all want to start a gofundme for season tickets but I’ve been to every home win this season and the only games I didn’t go to we lost.
