I don’t know why Goga isn’t playing today.
He warmed up. Shengelia has only played 3 minutes.
It’s like Dzikic is punting for rest purposes to save them for the last two group games. But Mamukelashvili and Shermadini played a lot.

Luka just had a triple double for Slovenia. Just the 4th in EuroBasket history.

Makes you wonder how ahead of it's time Jerry Krause was when he brought Kukoć to Bulls, as Tony is first ever to have triple double on Eurobasket. In 1995. He drafted him 29th in 1990.

I was at the game. Still not the best Luka game.
My money is on Banchero going number 1 !

False. https://www.fiba.basketball/en/events/fiba-eurobasket-2025/games/123011-MNE-GER#playByPlay - it shows you're spreading the wrong narrative.

Im always open to be proven wrong but please, show me replays especially the friendlies ( before thks tourney ) and during the first part ( before garbage time ) where Franz doesnt get subbef for Tristan and Tristan doesnt sit right away when Franz gets back.

This game against LIT was the time i saw the 2 play together in "meaningful" minutes.

Oh, so now we're talking friendlies all of a sudden?

iI've sent you a link to play-by-play where you can clearly see who has been subbed for whom in the Montenegro game. And there you have a visual proof. Forward to 2:10 and you will see Fanz's layup and TDS watching him from the wing. Math doesn't lie.

I.can confirm that TdS and Franz shared.the court. Franz playing the 4 in a smallball line-up.

Im talking about all the games this "offseason/eurobasket" I was lucky enough to watch starring TDS and Franz. As I said, I noticed that Franz alwasy gets subbed for TDS. And when Franz is ready to get back into play, I always see him sub TDS.

Bear in mind I kinda watch like Johnny Depp so feed sometimes cut during 2nd half or so. Since usually the games are out of reach, I dont really bother to find new sources.

As I said, Im always open to be proven wrong. And If there are minutes wherein GER plays the 2 of them together then Im happy.

And thanks.. I saw that. Guess they can share the floor after all.

Right now he is playing insane. Doesn't shoot a lot 2 for 2 for 5 points, but 7 assists.

Now he stands at 10 points (4/4 FG, 2/2 3Pts), 7 assists, 0 turnovers

He is top 5-6 player in Eurobasket tho.

Jokić, Luka , GIannis... than Segun, him and Lauri. After that you have several players like Vuc, Valenciunas & Zingis who are on decline and/or on terrible teams.

And watching such elite talent vs team like Great Brtain is hilarious. Might end up beating them by 60-70 even 80 points if they really want to. They are up by 30 midway through second quarter.

What Lauri did to GB was silly, almost had 50 points while playing hardly half of a game.

That's probably why i didn't pay too much attention on eurobasket overall, until elimination phase, talent differential is just too big. Should go back from 24 to 16 teams.

Its not only about the level of competition but also about making basketball more popular, having fun and seeing your national team.
Iceland gave us very hard time yesterday, and they should have won if not the favorable calls. They would not be in the tournament if there were 16 teams.
I am also not sure if we would be able to watch superstar Hezonja ;)

Franz 3/4 from deep against GBR. 6/12 in tournament play so far.

Looks like the shot is coming back...

And that one miss was from really deep. I think he was closer to half court than the three point line, and he wasn't that far off.
I am not sure his three ball is stable, yet, but his shot selection looks better. And his makes were solid, not some lucky bounces.
He passed up several threes, I think he would have taken, and probably missed, in the past.
