Wait. MY BAD...I read right past the frp...no way do I include that. I foolishly assumed it was player for player. Too good to be true. No way do I give up a frp for Bjelica (even with the added value of Aminu's deal going out)...more like a 2nd rounder, IMO.

I can't imagine C's trading Kemba for that package. I think Ainge is looking to add to Kemba/Smart/Brown/Tatum.

I'd have Gordon/Fournier as realistic targets fitting into that Hayward TPE. Vucevic would be my pipedream, fits perfectly into Stevens' system and our starting 5 with the above 4.

What would it realistically take to pry each away if it's just a deal between Celtics/Magic and Kemba/Brown/Tatum/Smart are off the table but everything else is up for grabs?

We do have plenty of assets outside of those 4 I mentioned. I could understand Vuc being off the table for a package of them, but based on what you guys are suggesting in here for AG/Fournier trades I don't think it's laughable to ask what it would take to get one of them and leave our starters untouched.

Everything else? For Fournier, as an expiring, there's probably a package in there, but not enough for Vuc or Gordon, even in a blow-up and tank situation.

It's like us saying "so, we really like Tatum and Brown. What would it realistically take to pry each away if Vuc, Gordon, Fournier, and Isaac are off the table?", even though the talent doesn't compare, that's what those pieces are presently worth to this franchise, sadly.

That's a good point. We can't really afford Fournier next season, so the polite thing to do for him, is trade him. That way at the end of the year, Boston could offer him a deal.

The FO seems to like Fournier and trading Gordon for an expiring would enable them to keep him.

Lonzo is still being sold high due his former 2# pick status and somewhat solid last season before bubble.

He would be latest bad fit to our roster.
I like JJ, but guy is turning 37, and plays like that. It seems like he lost all the speed and mobility. Gets no separation on jumpshots whatsoever. Playing by far the worst season of his nba or college career.

Lol...That is the frustrating part of the Magic situation. Even if we somehow could trade for a great player, we would be gutted and left with below replacement level players in our rotation.

I wonder how bad Beal wishes they kept Wall. Geez how the teams trading for Westbrook give up assets is beyond me. OKC got 2 firsts plus 2 pick swaps (from a now bad Houston team) for Westbrook, and they turned Chris Paul into 3 first rounders. Now Wizards paying a steep price.

I don't want Beal this season and would prefer to tank. But IF WeHam pushed the chips in to up competitiveness...

Wiz might be interested in taking a chance on Fultz or Isaac since their rehabbing allows for improved tanking.

That team looks Denver-ish but without MPJ as a 3rd star. A healthy Isaac would complete the defense but are Beal, Vuc and Cole enough to take the big shots in the big games?

Tanktastic. Add Cade, Suggs, Green, Kuminga or even Mobley to that squad + a healthy Isaac/Fultz and that squad starts to round out. Bamba's value would skyrocket with starter minutes and the chance to pad stats and chase highlights, even if he fails, so he could be moved if they choose to (are left to) take Mobley.
