I feel like George has far more of a scorer’s mentality than Black but Black is far more of a defender. I would have loved a Black, George backcourt. I think it fit what the magic needed.

Yeah but he was an inefficient 6'4 guard in college.. imo we have too many combo guards but he may turn out to be one of the better picks, who knows.. but the logjam would've been even more crazier. Jett can at least play SF

To be honest I was high on him all season until the end with his Tournament performance. Despite the inefficiencies you could see the ability to create and he is displaying it now. I really don’t mind the log jam. Front office will have to do their job at some point and filter out their assets. And those assets to fill other needs.

In the RS sure... the 82 game always have injuries and player *rest* however during the POs... we gotta make a choice. Who can give us the most returns between Fultz and Cole? Who has duplicate skills?

I will cry if we trade Cole lol

Cole, Suggs, and Fults are great teammates but I think they might be best in bench roles. Despite my initial hesitation, I think the magic may have find their future starting PG in Black.

Yikes at the Filipinos comments on social media mad about us not playing Kai Sotto. Between this and the Italians, we are not doing good internationally

I know nothing about Kai Sotto but thought it was weird we were putting a SG at the PF spot when they were playing two centers. Is Kai really that bad??

What are they saying about the Magic? Posts the most outrageous ones. Lol

As i said, why are the Italians mad? Paolo switching sides at the last minute to the USA no less is just honoring his Italian heritage.

Pretty much all just "#LetKaiPlay" or some variation, but like 3k comments and double that angry reactions on every post. One did say "No Kai we unfollow", can we fast forward to that point please? Lol

Hahaha better stay away from it.

There really isnt a lot of Magic fan in the Philippines. So they don’t know how we run the minutes in summer league.

Pretty happy with this first summer league game. Honestly all you can look for in these is glimpses of what’s to come, and for those I was happy with Black and Howard.

It’ll be interesting to see how the next game goes. I think Jett is going to take a lot of shots and if he hits more next game watch out. He seems to know how to get open which is extremely positive. The rest will come.

AB is what I expected, which is positive but will need to be fine tuned. I have no clue how he gets quality minutes unless this team deals Fultz.

Ausar Thompson looked very passive. Little chance he will end up better than Black imo

There's just something "Vinnie Johnson" about K-Harris' game.

His leadership was clear. K-Harris can ball and I am glad he is already signed to a 2way deal. When/if the Magic dump Anthony to promote Black, K-Harris steps in nicely as the 3rd-string lead guard.

He was only player on both who was making off ball cuts that made any sense . Scrap that, he is only player i watched over SL in past several years who moved off ball with any logic behind it

Mini-Dwight - Duren is now taking jumpshots , that's my biggest takeaway
