That’s a tough loss, but the team fought against a team that was hot. Magic losing on turnovers and inability to convert wide open 3s again. Great Paolo game. Best Wendell game of the year. Our shooting guards (Suggs and Harris) couldn’t shoot.

Just didn't quite make enough shots.

It sucks too because this was the game they needed to get on this trip. GSW and SAC are going to just bombard them with threes.

Howard Mass wrote:Like Dante said, The Magic got cold at the end of the game.

It's a shame as this one was winnable on a tough west coast trip.

Going cold it’s too simplistic. They packed the paint on Franz/Paolo because no one else was a threat. No spacing whatsoever.

One of the shooters we're supposed to have didn't even attempt a shot..... Someone explain the Caleb minutes to me.... He's a shooter, not a defender....not a rebounder..... A shooter, what's the use of him being out there if we're not going to use him?

The team played good.. one guy had a garbage night. The game was very much winnable with what they have.

Just like they're one of the worst 3pt shooting teams in the league they turn it over at a high rate league wide also. Rather focus on limiting the turnovers than making a move for a shooter when the guys you have will get better at shooting it.

Don’t ever tell me Tyus Jones wouldn’t help this team. We played as good as possible minus our G’s

We need a PG who can run an offense and settle us down to get a bucket or assist when needed.
A scoring guard.. never heard of one.

The Magic continue to fade. Some guys are in season long shooting slumps that just will not end, it’s unreal.

Man, despite not playing the best Franz's stat line looks good. 27, 7, 6 on 45% shooting.

Let me ask you a question.. you think Tyus Jones is going to take the ball out of Paolo's or Franz' hands at the end of the game?

Though loss.

I have seen enough to say that shooting limits our ceiling. Our offense is heavily based on iso ball predicated on drives to put a pressure on the rim without kickouts. Opposing teams adjusted to simply pack the paint and force turnovers.

It is on FO to get this team to the next level.

Why we go away from Wendell 3s?

Still a team with a lot of holes and improvement areas.... One of them is our 4th quarter offense... Its like we play a certain way for 3 quarters then the 4th quarter comes around and it's a lot of dribbling and not enough passing.... It turns into an iso fest.... No body movement, no ball movement..... These kind of games frustrate me the most because it was right there for the taking
