He played well last season in his stint when Franz was out, great defense but didn't bring much offensively apart from the occasional 3.

This season he has clearly worked on his offensive game, and he is a bonifide rotational player. He will take Gary Harris' mins going forward. He epitomizes the skills and culture that Mosely & the FO is crafting on the Magic. I hope to see him play for our team for many years to come

If you remember that epic win in Denver last year, Queen was huge in that one.

Queen has an interesting story too. At one point he was living in a 2 room retirement home unit with 15 other people. Eventually got kicked out of there and had to live in a car with 3 other teammates from the community college he played for.

You live in a car with 3 people? Like how????

He didnt go to a proper university? Community college doesnt give dorms?

That was impressive. When bottom of.the roster guys play like allstars against the fully-loaded runaway best team in the league, you know your coach is cooking up some special sauce.

Will be in mix but Cavs last year won 48 games, now they are on pace to 71 wins (well, at least win percentage vise) .
Ditto with OKC and their 67 wins pace.

BTW... anyone has a clear pic or view of Goga really trying to choke Zinger? I thought it was in the chest area.

I think it was only for a second but I disagree with people saying he shouldn't have gotten anything. Maybe not thrown out but anything near the shoulders/neck/etc refs will be harsh on it

he did grabbed his neck tho, but probably not with much intention. I'm more surprised that all 3- Goga, Suggs and Zings weren't all ejected.

NBA needs more of this and whatever Drummond/Embiid/Wemby did in that game to boost ratings up

Yeah... i agree. Much as i hate it AND Goga was just trying to break it up, anything hit/contact in the nech and above should have a penalty

I feel awful for Moe still.. as much as I get on him for his defense, you also can always pencil him in for 10 points off of the bench, and feast on very specifically bad interior defensive teams.

That being said, I don't know if we win these two with him playing. That defense at times was Vuc level of trading twos for threes and the switch-ability isn't there. The offense was amazing, but teams also knew our offense when Moe is in with the bench unit, the ball somehow always gets to him and becomes predictable. Isaac and WCJ are absolutely maddening at times, but it does provide way more switching opportunities and also lets us play guys like Queen/guards in different lineups because of two defensive bigs roaming.

We'll def have games where we'll miss his scoring though. Especially until Paolo and Franz are back.

This game:

A) was awesome to watch, 90's NBA all over again
B) should seal the fate of Harris on this team, just trade his ass for anything and sign TQ
C) made me love this team even more
