Heat starting bigs are RuPaul and Dexter f'in Pittman/other minimum FA.... when has a team won a championship with bigs that soft? Answer: never. I'm not panicking yet.

Are people seriously saying that LeBron+Wade+Bosh+10deadbodies don't make the Heat the best team in the league instantly?

Didn't people learn with the Celtics a couple of years ago when they joined Pierce with Allen and KG plus a roster unable to win 30 games?
Wade+Bosh+Bron is vastly superior to the big 3 of Boston and they won it in their first year, nearly won it this year with their stars being 50 years old and last year the Magic made history by beating them.

Wade, Bosh and Bron coupled with the whistles and 10 dead bodies in the roster are by far the best team in the league.

If there is a time for Otis to panic, this is it.

If Bron stayed in Cleveland I'd say we'd still be on par with Cleveland and Boston and only a notch behind LA.
If Bron went to NY I'd only be worried with Boston and LA.

Now I'm absolutely sure that the Magic can't reach the finals anytime soon with this roster, even if some minor tweaks are done.

I'm usually on the positive side, but this is just too obvious to try and smile about our chances.

Some of you are just pure clowns. Bearing an injury, the Miami Heat are the favorites to win the title. I hope they don't get injured because this is history in the making. But yet I still want to see the Magic hoist that trophy in june 2011, so bring on CP3

Am I the only one who isn't scared? Look, I think the Heat are certainly top contenders now, but until they fill out their roster, they're right there with Boston, LA, and Orlando. Now I will be scared if they sign a big defensive center. If they get Shaq and a 3 shooter, we're all ****. But if Bosh is their only real big man, a beefy frontcourt will be the Heat's kryptonite.

I am disgusted by this and The LeBron James jersey burning reminds me of that life size cutout of Shaq I saw burning in a suburb on the news back in 96.

LeBron, Wade and Bosh are attempting to build an upbeatable team and Orlando might be the only ones who can stop them.

Rest assured that Gortat will be dealt and some other moves will be made to try and combat this.

Just because they decide to try and take the easy route to a title does not mean anyone should stand down.

It's not going to be easy guys but Otis is going to do everything he can to put a cork in their potential dynasty.

We have got to believe and keep our heads up.

They might think they will coast to a title but I'll tell you all something, the Sunshine State War is on. It is definitely on.

Until someone can explain to me how they fill out their roster with players that are better than D-Leaguers and the horrible vets available this off season then I am going to keep saying that you are all overreacting.

There aren't even any good ring chasers. If they some how convinced Shaq to go from the vet min then they would have something but there is just nothing for them to get.

you guys do realize howard struggles vs bigs that are as big or bigger than him, guys who he cant just push around right?? they dont have to have ANY offensive skill at all... just be big... pittman is damn near 300 pounds.. sure he'll only play 12-20 minutes.. but guys like ratliff and battie will be able to contain dwight enough to allow the other 3 to win a game... its not like howard is going for 50 on anyone... come on guys i know u dont want to admit it lol but ... its over... and if the rumors of chris paul joining them in 2012 are true... you cant help but laugh ... its almost comical

The Heat are the best team in the league right now, I dont know how people can argue against that. They have 2 of the best 5 players in the world plus another good player. They have the best trio thats for sure. Instant title contender but they can be beaten.

The fact that is the annoying Heat makes me sick to my stomach.

I can gurantee you that Otis will not sit still. Lets see what happens.

the ball can only be in one player's hands at a time, so wade and lebron is really redundant.... none of them are spot up shooters, and if they find minimum range shooters they are more than likely gonna suck on defense.

Exactly. Protect the paint and they'll struggle.
